I have a bit of explaining to do.

So exams have been starting, and I have been looking over a few notes and study guides.

Not only that, but I had to practice hard for a concert I was performing at today.

Though, in between it all, I tried my best to fit some of your books in my schedule.

Honestly, I did not get very far.

For those of you whose books I didn't finish/get to, I am very sorry!

This week has been very busy, and I will remain busy until Wednesday.

Though, luckily for you guys, I did choose the books that I did get to, so this is still... somewhat dedications!

> No brainer, this one deserved first place. The writing is absolutely incredible (and I thought I was a great writer), and the descriptions are very vivid. The story is quite short, but it is definitely worth reading (Rumor has it, there's an update coming tomorrow ;D)!!

>This is the book I am currently reading. I am acutally a good ways into it, and am super engulfed! The beginning is an immediate attention-grabber, and it contains many visuals throughout the story so that you have vivid images of the characters and scenes. Not only that, BUT IT INCLUDES REALLY SEXY BLACK GUYS.
Ahem.
The plot and background were super interesting, especially the culture of it. I really do enjoy books that have different culture, language, etc.

Unfortunately, these were the only books that I was able to get to because of my busy, busy schedule! But hopefully next week I can get a full set of stories to choose from.

Congratulations to the both of you! Even though there wasn't much competition, your stories were still definitely worth reading, and I enjoyed them!! I honestly cannot wait for your next updates! And if I am still reading, I'm sitting here thinking of the possible outcomes of your stories, or the parts that really had me intrigued.

I have bad news.

The FCC's vote for internet taxing has been passed.

It's been f***ing passed.

Like... do you guys know how angry I am about this??

I built this club up with the help of friends, made friends on here, and had a good time. I even rounded up so many people to help judge for my upcoming awards, got ELEVEN languages ready at the go! It took a lot of hard work.

All for nothing?

Now I have to pay for the hard work I've done?

I'm honestly just.... IRATE at this because this is one of my favorite places to be, and I have so many friends on here! I love running this club, I love reading y'all's books, I love sharing books and connecting and getting to know the authors behind the stories...

The FCC literally shat (or will s**t) taxes all over our books and stuff.

Ai...

Not only will the Wattpad Community be affected by this, but also schools! We do so much research online for papers, and teachers use websites online so that students who are absent can look on those websites to see the work they've missed, or we can get things from those websites that are not available in class.

Pay to do work?

Please!

Not only that, but I also heard that someone will be watching our EVERY MOVE on the internet.

I don't know if that's true or not, but I do know that if you look up really shady stuff (like things on terrorists or confidential political stuff), then there is someone watching you.

But EVERY SINGLE MOVE?!

I really hope that's a rumor and not true because that's just bizarre.

Ugh...

I don't know when exactly it will start, but I'm dreading the day I go on YouTube and I try to watch a video, but it stops me and demands a payment.

But not all hope is lost.

We are Americans (or at least most of you are), and we know damn well that there will be riots and petitions. We know damn well people will be angry and do some pretty violent things if this does not change.

So I guess it is safe to say that this internet taxing will not last long.

But, until that time, let's see how hectic things get because of the taxing.

This'll be interesting.
