"I remember that. That was the first day of kindergarten. I didn't even know you" She said laughing
"I'm glad you asked me to be friends though. I can't imagine what life would be like without you in it" I gushed.
I liked Lupe for such a long time. I've liked her since the day I met her actually.
Now that we were much older I finally realize that I'm in love with her.
"Are you even listening to me" She said waving her hands in my face.
"Yea" I replied quickly
"If you were listening what did I just say" She asked as she raised her brow
My mind was blank because I wasn't actually listening to her.

As soon as I said that she started laughing. I loved her laugh.
"I wouldn't have to repeat myself if you heard me. But I asked you if you saw me in your future"
"Of course I do. You're my best friend. How could I survive without you" I told her with a little grin on my face.

"I'm going to head home now. But goodnight Lupe" I said as I got off her bed.
"Goodnight" She responded as I walked out of her apartment.
