Introduction

Hello Wattpad readers and welcome to The Glass Journals!

I am so excited to see where this story goes and who runs across it. I have great plans for it and I hope that it is widely enjoyed. It is a brand new Wattpad feature and will be undergoing many edits as time goes on. Votes and comments are very much appreciated! If you have any questions, please ask them throughout your reading! If I have any super devoted readers, I will give them a shout out at the ending of the book! So keep updated ;)

A little bit about The Glass Journals:

There are random journal entries throughout the book placed in between chapters. Do not mistake these entries for chapters! These journal entries are written by me, your loving author, they are not real. In fact, you'll start to question what really is real when reading this book. The entries and chapters tell different stories that will be intertwined eventually in the book. I aim for around 300 words in the journal entries and 1500 words in each chapter.

The story is about a young man named Adrik. He is the main character throughout the book and basically everything that could go wrong in his life, is. He does find romance sometime within the book so keep watch for that ;) 

Every chapter will be connected with a song that I either listened to while writing, was mentioned in the chapter, or just goes along well with the content. I recommend listening to them if you can! I will post warnings if the song is inappropriate or triggering and such.

Now, in all seriousness, there is mentioning of mental disorders and things that may be triggering within the pages of my book. There isn't much, but if at any part you feel triggered in any way, stop reading and send me a message with your dilemma. I have no intentions of offending or triggering anyone, but if that is the case, do not hesitate to let me know and I will make edits immediately. Keep in mind, this is written from the point of view of a singular person with a singular mind that thinks in his own way.  

Now I can't tell you too much about the book, just enough to make you want to read it. It is a mishmash (<<also that is a real word according to my computer!) of adventure, fantastical creatures, emotional pull, and seat-gripping tension. I really hope you enjoy this book as much as I do!

Helpful and constructive editing tips are GREATLY appreciated. I try to have fun and interact with my readers as much as I can while still pulling the mature author garb at the same time.
