Do or Die

Is she...?

        "First round starts now. Have fun."

An arrow with a note attached to it shoots out from somewhere behind me and Jack and it hits the ground right in front of Harper. Her eyes widen and she scoots back.

Alexis looks at the arrow and then to Harper. "You should probably see what the dare is." She mumbles, just loud enough to hear.

Maybe Alexa is the person. She looked pretty confident before and nows she stating that like it's the most obvious thing in the world.

Harper gulps with tear stained cheeks and grabs the note attached to the paper. Then to our surprise she giggles.

"This is all? Okay." She spreads out on the floor and then attempts to lick her elbow. She doesn't succeed but sits up and looks at Alexa.

"It said to lay in the ground and try to lick your elbow for 10 seconds. Easy."

The next person is Kylie and the arrow hits in front of her and Brandon. She gets off his lap and he wraps his arm around her looking into her eyes.

  "Babe I don't know if you should do this-" she looks at him serious.

"There is a murderer in this room with arrows coming from the wall at a high speed. I'll do the damn dare." She says and takes the dare card, reading it out loud. "Stand up on the nearest table and scream the first line of your favorite song. What the? These are easy." She gets up and screams the first line to Just Give Me A Reason by P!nk.

We go around the circle and then the speaker tells us to put the arrows in a pile in the middle of our circle.

Kylie watches everyone put their arrows in the middle and rolls her eyes. Brandon puts Kylie's in the middle for her.

"This is stupid. I'm leaving." She stands up and starts calmly walking to the door.

Brandon looks worriedly at Kylie, then speaks urgently. "Wait babe what if this is real and-" but before he can finish his sentence Kylie touches the door and we hear two gun shots and see 3 knifes fall from above her out of the ceiling.

Blood drips from her back and head, and she falls down limp... dead.

From the very door we walked in here from only 30 minutes earlier.

Brandon and me freeze looking at her wondering if this is real while everyone else's eyes show fear except Alexa and Gabriel. They just look down, expressionless.

Harpers tiny voice echoes in the silent room. "Is she... dead?" I hear her voice shaking and I'm about to stand up but Jack holds me down and I look at him ready to smack him.

Jack was the one with pleading eyes. "Don't go over there please... I don't want two people dead." His eyes are pleading and I look over at Brandon, his eyes still glued to Kylie. His eyes look as dead as Kylie right now. I sigh and wipe a tear from my face and nod.

"Okay... b-but Brandon has to promise not to go over there either." I say and he snaps out of his daze, looking over to me and Jack and looks confused. I am to.

"Brandon, please don't go over there." Jack says in between concerned and stern.

Brandon just slowly nods and looks at the ground. His eyes lifeless. His heart close to that to by now.

This time the arrow goes to me first. I take the card off and read it in my head, disgusted.

"Well this went from 0 to 100 real quick." I mutter as my heart sinks even more. I'm surprised my brain is still operating.

They all look up at me afraid, but of course Alexa and Gabriel don't... just curious. I read my card as Harper gasps.
