Is It You?

  The arrow shot in front of Harper and of course she screamed. Alexa gave Harper a quick hug and then pulled away, her face expressionless. Harper was calmer and Alexa still looked a little creepy to me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Gabriel move towards me. He was sitting next to me our knees touching as Harper picked up her dare.

"Uhhhhh... I don't know about this. Maybe giving up wouldn't be so bad—" Harper started but I interrupted her sentence. "Just read it." I said impatiently.

I know it might be mean to rush her since our situation is terrible, but I'm tired and sick of this, literally what I had to do was disgusting and so was what everyone else had to do.

Next thing Harper does surprises me. She full on jumps on Alexa and starts punching her. Alexa is too surprised to do anything at first but then she pushes Harper off. Alexa's face is bruised and Harper glares at her.

"You cheater!" She screams at Alexa. Jack, Gabriel, and I all have our eyes wide open by now. Stunned and confused at the situation.

Jack speaks first. "Woah Harper, Alexa you guys are lesbian like with each other?" He asks confused.

Alexa sits up calmly and looks at Harper glaring at her. They both ignore Jacks comment. "I wouldn't cheat on you."

"Oh really?" She takes the note that was shot at her and takes a picture out of it. She shoves it in Alexa's hands and crosses her arms. I've never seen Harper so mad and violent. Alexa's face was all purple and I felt a little bad. Alexa looked over the photo with no expression. "It isn't me."

Harper was angry with the answer. "Then why does it look just like you?!"

"How would I know you idiot?" Alexa sneers and Harper jumps back on her but Alexa pushes her down and gets on top of her.

"If I say that it isn't me, it isn't me." She plants a gentle kiss on Harpers cheek and moves away from her sitting back calmly where she was before. I hear Jack awe and I look over at with my eyebrow raised.

"What? It's cute and turns me on, that deserves a metal." He nods happily, I roll my eyes. He's kind of gross.

The arrow shoots in front of Alexa and she takes it and a picture slips out.

"Ah, another fake picture to tear us apart... great." She says with sarcasm and then I look over at Harper as her cheeks redden. No way. I think, thinking Harper may have cheated on Alexa.

"Can I see it?" Harper asks quietly and Alexa nods.

"Its probably fake." She hands it to Harper and Harpers face heats up even more. I see Alexa slightly smile for a second but she's not looking directly at Harper. In Harpers direction but it looks like she looking right past her... at the door.

"You are the person aren't you Alexa." I state and she whipes her head looking at me frowning.

"How dare you accuse me." She says, her eyes narrow at me.

"It is! You are the person who's doing this." My eyes narrow at her as well and she stays calm. I feel Gabriel's hand on my shoulder.

"Hey Eleanor I don't think it's any-" but I cut him off.

"Why would do this Alexa?! This is awful! My best friend and her boyfriend are dead." I empathize dead and glare at her. Her eyes match mine and we are glaring at each other.

"You are insane, I wouldn't do this. How would we know it isn't you after all?" She counters.

"Because why in the fucking world would I want to kill my best friend!!" Tears form in my eyes again and I hug the closest person to me, which is Gabriel. He rubs my back, but beside my crying there is silence. It could be any of them though, even Gabriel or Jack or Harper. I need to get out of here. I jumps up and run for the secret back door in the library.

Flashback

"I'll show you Eleanor it's really cool. It leads to the science room, then right outside." My best friend that I knew since I was 5 said. His name is Derek and we were friends until Kylie came into my life because then me and Derek just kind of drifted apart.

"Can't wait" I smiled at him and he showed me the secret door in the library. We went through it, to the 9th grade science room and then outside to recess. "Wow your so smart how did you find this place Derek?"

He smiled and said, "Secret. Now come on it's almost time for class." He grabbed my hand and we walked to class together.

End of flashback.

Surprisingly I made it there and I run in. Then after my escape I hear screams and then someone shut the door. I looked over into the darkness. I can see an outline of a high school boy.

"Gabriel?"

Jack steps into the light. "No I'm sorry Eleanor, he was shot by an arrow. So was Harper and I didn't see Alexa or hear her scream so I don't know what happened to her.

Jack and Alexa. They are the suspects.

"Oh no..." I felt sad for Gabriel and Harper. They were both generally nice people and now they are gone. Just like Kylie and Brandon. Lifeless. Dead.

I took a step away from Jack, after all he could be the person killing all of them out there. He could be the person who is doing all of this. He looked at me confused and then sighed. And for once in all of the moments I've been around him he looked and sounded serious.

"I'm not capable of killing people so get that thought out of your head. Let's find a way out of here." He didn't try to hit on me or call me beautiful or anything after that. He just walked past me with no expression, silent. I followed him silent to. We found our way out and standing in front of us was something disturbing.

Alexa on the ground dead.

And the person above her was someone I never expected.
