"Loki Dear!" Jamie cried when Lorelei opened the door, wide arms open towards Loki sitting on the couch whose busy with the laptop on his lap.

Agad naman siyang umupo katabi nito and circled her arms into his. "What are you doing?" tanong niya

"Reading update. The Man in the Black Organization is revealed, I need to stay tuned." sabi niya na hindi binabaling ang atensyon kay Jamie.

Jamie just nodded and started smiling. "Hey Loki hindi ka ba pupunta sa Winter Festival?" tanong nito.

"Don't state the obvious Jamie." replied he

Jamie groaned, she expected it but at the very least, she hoped for something, unusual.

"May balak ka bang pumunta dun Jamie?" Lorelei caught their attention both. Standing firm at the door with his winter wear, thick clothes and warm clothes, winter gloves and the red scarf that's almost covering her mouth. She's going out.

"Are you intending to go to the Festival Lorie? Alone?" Jamie asked.

"Yeah." tipid nitong sagot.

Nagsimula ng mag-alinlangan si Jamie. Her thoughts is confusing her. This is only a yearly festival in town, held only by the month of December. The Festival covers many international trades and offer fun events to provide warm and satisfaction for the audience letting them forget the Cold of the Winter, figuratively.
Jamie started playing her hair with a confuse expression.

"But you'll hate to leave Loki right?" Lorie broke her thoughts.

That lighten up Jamie's face.

"Right. I should not leave my Loki dear." at hinawakan ulit sa braso si Loki na sa ngayon ay nakuha na ang konsentrasyon sa laptop.

"Well then." Lorelei declared "I should take my leave." and started to walk out of the room.

"She's a bit, strange recently. Did you felt it too Loki dear?" Jamie started when Lorie totally disappeared from the door.

"That scarf. Have you seen her sewing that every time you are together?" Loki asked immediately.

Napakunot naman ang noo ni Jamie sa tanong nito pero sinubukan ring mag-isip.

"Wala...? Wala, I'm sure. Ni hindi ko siya nakitang may dalang pulang tela o nagboborda ng scarf and why would she even think about making it? Tingin mo ba handmade yun?" balik na taking nito.

"Yes. I'm sure of it, that scarf has a little... difference compare to those commercial scarfs in the market. Pero ang pagkakagawa nito ay sinisigurado kong gawang kamay. And I highly  doubt Lorie made that." Loki explained.

  LORELEI is smiling while making her walk but felt guilty about earlier. Tinanong niya si Jamie kanina kung gusto ba talaga nitong pumunta sa Festival, but actually it was her way to free herself from their doubts. Alam naman ni Lorie na hinding-hindi sasama sa kanya si Jamie kung alam naman nito na may chansa na siya kay Loki sa dorm.

  PASSING through the colorful stalls around the street, people can't stop talking and laughing with their children fondly pointing at the sequence of lanterns hanging above. She took glimpse of small wooden stages on corner with entertainers handling it and audience clapping. It's the Festival feels.

  Lorelei has no set of goal on her mind of what she wants to eat. She's picking everything she wants to try and watch.

Pagkarating ng ilang lakad ay nakaabot na rin siya sa kanyang destinasyon. Isang maliit na entablado sa isang korner ng kalye, pinalilibutan ito ng nyebe sa paligid at may mga mahabang kahoy na iniuupuan na ng mga manonood. Lorelei seated to an empty long chair and checked out of what's the show is.

Naka-ilan siya ng tawa dahil totoong nakakatawa ang tema ng palabas nila. She was concentrating on the show when someone seated beside her, closely to her.

"This Takoyaki is good." sabi ng umupo. Napatingin naman si Lorelei sa kanya at tiningnan ang inaabot na pagkain. Lorelei took the other small wooden stick and took one of the takoyaki. She's plainly munching it.

"Its just a squid." she stated after the munch.

"Then, this squid is good." sabi naman nito at kumuha pa ng isa at isinubo.

"We should check out the highlight tonight Luthor." sabi ni Lorie

"The Fireworks? Then, let's walk through the bridge near the river. The scenery of the blowing lights would be good there." Luthor suggested.

They started their walk.  Walking and tasting the product of every stall they encounter. Lorie lead the way while Luthor behind her.

"What do you want to tell me by the way?" simula ni Lorie habang naglalakad at kinakain ang Apple Lollipop. They both have the red big lollipop on their hands.

But Luthor kept silent habang minamasdan ang mga punong dinadaan papunta sa tulay.

Takip silim na at nagpupuntahan na ang lahat sa sentro ng Festival for the big event.  When Luthor finally noticed it, he walked fast towards Lorie and grab her right hand. Nagulat naman ito at tiningnan nang pagtataka si Luthor.

They're now walking together. Holding each others hand, comfortable and secured.

"We should practice this." he murmur with his usual, plain expression staring ahead.

Sa ilang minutong paglalakad ay nakarating na sila sa wakas sa tulay sa taas ng isang ilog, nature surrounds the place and can barely be heard the mutters and sounds coming from the festival.

They positioned East where the Fireworks would be seen.

"The thing I had to tell you is." Luthor faced Lorelei slowly.

"....I guess, I can't let my story be unrequited even though, I can naturally manage everything."

Lorelei just made a confuse look.

Luthor just sighed frustratingly, realizing it was so unusual of him saying those "It was so unnatural. "

Lorelei just chuckled "Definitely."
"...but, I think you just clearly gave me answers." she said.

"Answers about what?" asked Luthor.

"About this uncertain circumstances of..." she can't tell her next word.

"Love?" Luthor continued, grinning.

"There you have it."
