****QUICK NOTE: Hey guys. All I want to say is that if you don't like this story, hey I don't blame you. Its my first time writing a story like this so I may need some practice. Well, enough of my rambling, hope you guys enjoy. :)****
New Jersey. Thats where my life began. My childhood, my friends, my family. It really sucks knowing I may not see my friends for a while, but hopefully the people here in California will accept me. We moved here, to Chino Hills because my Dad got a better job here. I mean yeah, its nice and all, but its not what I'm used to I guess.
It was my first day here and I had to set up my new room, so at least if I didn't feel welcomed here, I'd have my room to come to. I spend most of my time in my room either listening to music, drawing, or just living life on my phone. Like most teenaged girls. Oh, by the way, my name is Natalie and I'm turning 16 in July. Our house here is WAY bigger than thte one back in Jersey. So far, this house is my favorite part. The only bad thing is that I have to have a room across the hall from my sister, Nicole. I love her to death, but sometimes, she can be pretty annoying. But hey, isn't that what little sisters do?
I started to unload my boxes when out of the corner of my eye, the cutest boy I had ever seen walked out of the house a few doors down. I had to look away or else A.) I would of started drooling or B.) He would of seen me starting to drool. Yeah, not the way I would want to introduce myself. And of course, I managed to make a fool out of myself anyway by dropping the box I was holding, making a loud bang. He looked over and I started getting all, I guess, insecure. He started walking over and I thought I was gonna die. "Need some help?" the boy asked. Wow. He just sounded dreamy. His voice was probably the sexiest thing I had ever heard.
"Uh, yeah, sure, I guess." I managed to say. "I mean I don't have to if-" I cut him off, "No, its fine. I'm Natalie by the way." I said as I extended my arm. "I'm Cameron. Cameron Dallas." he said as he shook my hand. Holy fuck. His hands were so big and so warm. This boy is perfect After a second of daydreaming about this boy, Cameron, we let go and he picked up the box I had dropped. "Thanks, I could be kind of a clutz sometimes." I stated truthfully. And I was telling the truth. I. Am. A. Total. Clutz.
As I grabbed another box, I lead Cameron up to my room. I was stopped in the downstairs hallway by my mom. "And who is this?" she asked, sounding a little to happy. "Mom, this is Cameron, he's helping me bring my boxes up to my room, is that ok?" I asked nervously. "Yeah, sure. Cameron, which house is yours? I'd like to introduce myself to your mother and to let her know where you are." she said. Oh god, our parents are going to know each other now, that means we might be seeing a lot of each other. Not to mention we are probably going to school together starting next week. "Third house down on the other side of the street." Cameron said to my mom. "Okie dokie. No funny business you two." she said winking at me. "MOM!" I said almost yelling. "Ok, Ok." she said sarcastically.
"Uh, this way." I finally managed to blurt out. I lead him up to my room and after unloading the boxes we had in our arms, we just kept going back and forth bringing the rest up. When we were finished we both plopped down on my bed. "Thanks again" I said to Cameron. "Oh, no problem. Well I better get back home, but I'll see you later, ok?" "Yeah, sure." I said, somewhat disappointed he was leaving. "You have a phone right?" he asked me. My heart dropped. Was he gona give me his number?! "Uh, yeah, totally. Why?" I asked. "Well I wanted to give you my number so we could meet up later. Maybe the park or something?" he said somewhat sheepishly. "Yeah, that would be nice." I said with a smile. We handed each other our phones, exchanged numbers, then I walked Cameron out. "See you around." he said in the sweetest way possible. "See you around." I said back.
My first day here and I've already made a new friend. And he's a hot one too.
