Chapter Two: I Survied my First Day

I was all unpacked, my room was all set up and I felt like I was going to pass out. But then I remebered Cameron might meet me at the park! So I hopped into the shower, when I was finished I dryed my self off and did my hair and makeup. I didn't feel like drying my hair so I just pinned back my bangs and put some gel in it. Just some light makeup, eyeliner and mascara. Then I threw on my floral bandeau, a white muscle tee, and some high waisted black skinny jeans. I grabbed my penny board and head out the door.

Once I got outside I texted Cameron letting him know I was on my way.

To. Cameron: headed to the park. we still on?

From. Cameron: ya! I just can't be out to long, its my moms birthday so me and my sister are taking her out to eat. but that gives us an hour tho! see ya there.

To. Cameron: ok! tell your mom I said happy birthday!

From. Cameron: she said thanks :)

Hey at least we get to spend some time getting to know each other before school tomorrow.

He got to the park in the mater of 2 minutes. We just sat on the swings and talked for a bit. "So, tell me about yourself. We can play 20 questions." he said. "Ok! Ask me first." I responded. "Um, how old are you?" "15 turning 16 in July." "That's cool. I'm 16. I turn 17 in September."Cool! So what grade are you in?" By this time we weren't playing 20 questions anymore. We just went back and forth asking each other random questions. "I'm a sophomore, how about you?" " Me too! I start at Chino Hills High tomorrow." "Hey, I go there! Maybe I could show you around tomorrow." "That would be nice. Hey, maybe we will have some classes together." HONK HONK! A car came driving up when the drivers window rolled down. "Who is that?" I asked. "My sister." he said in an annoyed tone. "What Sierra!?" "Lets go! The reservation is in 10 minutes! We don't want to mess up moms birthday." she said. "Hi, I'm Cameron's sister Sierra. And you are?" she asked me. She sounded really nice. "I'm Natalie. I moved in down the street from you guys." "Oh cool! Well welcome to the neighborhood! Now lets go Cam! See you later Natalie." "Bye." I said to them. "I'll text you later. Ok?" he asked me. "Yeah sure, now go before you miss your reservation!" I told him letting out a little chuckle. He got into the car and they both waved to me as they drove away.

I rode home and decided I should probably get my stuff ready for tomorrow. It was only October so I only missed a month here. I decided just to use the bag I used last year. I brought a few notebooks, a folder, two binders, some pencils, pens, a planner, and some gum. I threw it all in my bag and set it near my door. Then I picked out an outfit for tomorrow. Usually I would just look like a bum, but that's only because I was comfortable at my old school, I know I wont be here. I can already see all of the dirty and strange looks I'm gonna get. I already know I'm going to hate it here. Cameron is probably not going to want to talk to me, being the new girl. I don't know. I guess we will find out tomorrow. I set my alarm for 5:30 am and drifted off to a deep sleep.

I awoke to All I Ever Need by Austin Mahone. I groaned and rolled out of bed, literally. After lying on the ground for a good 5 minutes I got up and headed to my bathroom to take a shower. After 40 minutes of enjoying my hot shower, I finally got out, dried off, and got ready. Last night I picked out my white, ripped skinny jeans, a crop top that had a daisy on it, and my black flip-flops. I put my hair in a messy side braid. I added a black lace bow to my hair and my outfit was complete. I put on my make-up, kinda simple , yet a little bolder than usual. I sprayed some of my perfume on myself and I headed down-stairs. My mom had made me waffles and a breakfast sausage, my favorite. I quickly ate it, washing it down with some orange juice. I brushed my teeth, kissed my parents good-bye and headed out the door. I was a little early so I decided just to walk to school. As I walked down the street I saw Cameron playing some basketball. He waved hi to me and I waved back. When I got to school I went to the office so they could give me my schedule, and give the gist of the school, so I knew where I was going.
