"Jake and Paige. Please pick up y'all toys. And MaKenzie come here please."
Jake and Paige are August kids and I adopted MaKenzie. My twins are 2 and MaKenzie is 4. "Ma Devin won't hush."
Devin isn't my child he's my boyfriend Cody son. He's 7 years old. "Devin, do me a favor and shut up."
"You shut up."
"Hold up. You a rude boy." KhaLani said walking in with August
"Y'all look so cute together." I said trying to smile.
"Thank you." KhaLani said grabbing August hand and smiling.
"August we need to talk."
"Mommy," Jake ran into the kitchen. "Paige spitting on your floor."
I walked in the living room and Paige was throwing up. I hate that she gotta go through this at such a young age. "What's wrong with her?" August asked
"She's missing her father in her life that's what's wrong."
"I'm serious. Tell me what's wrong with her."
"She has cancer."
