There is a beautiful house that sits right in the middle of a pretty neighborhood that holds two of the most important people you will come to know. The house is white with bright red trim and an arching doorway. A gray cobblestone walkway leads up to the hardwood oak door that has an ancient lion-head knocker on it. The grass is always trimmed neatly, the hedges don't have a leaf out of place and the roses that grow on the property always seem to be in full bloom. Past the garage, past the walkway and past the front door is a large entry way. In front sits a table with a vase always filled with fresh flowers. Past that a living room, attached to a kitchen conjoined to a dining room. Then down the hall a bathroom a closet and a set of stairs. They lead to another bathroom, a master bedroom, and two smaller bedrooms.

Too big a house for two people but the dream house of a third who no longer occupies it's walls. The condition of the house itself, inside and out, perfectly clean. It gives the impression that everything has been scrubbed clean moments before you have arrived. No toys liter the ground, or books, or anything of any sort. Not even in one little girl's room. Not that the father would've minded. Sometimes he wondered if his daughter was as old as she appeared to be. Now, inside said father's master bedroom he paces back and forth in front of his closet. He selects an article of clothing only to discard it moments later. The man can not decide and so he walks. Back and forth, back and forth.

"Stop it mate you're making me anxious." Harry complained as he bounced Audrey on his knee. Audrey looked up at him with glee but didn't make a sound. I didn't listen to him and instead continued to pace.

"Good because I'm overwrought right now." I murmured running a hand through my hair.

"It's just a date. A simple old fashioned date. You've been on them before." Harry reminds me. I roll my eyes agitated.

"Not with someone I actually wanted to take out on a date Harry." I point out shaking my finger at him while I continue to walk back and forth in front of him.

"Ouch. I'll tell the ladies you said that." He teases softly. I groan and sit down on my bed not caring that the multiple dress shirts and pants I pulled out and placed neatly on my bed are sliding down the sides threatening to slip over the edge and crumple to the floor.

"Harry please. I'm serious." I said dropping my head and staring at my black, polished shoes. Harry sighs and stands pulling Audrey up with him and holding her against his shoulder. Audrey wraps her pudgy arms around his neck and kisses his cheek affectionately.

"I'm sorry. I'm trying to lighten the mood. You're stressin' out." Like I don't already know that.

"Yeah, I know, you know you are but seriously Liam calm down. It's a date." With Rose. A date. With Rose. I think I'm going to be sick. "You ok there? You look a little green?" Harry says looking a bit distraught.

"I shouldn't have asked her out. You shouldn't have pushed me into this." I groan looking back up at Harry. He holds up on hand defensively keeping the other securely wrapped around Audrey.

"You said she was pretty." Harry shrugged.

"Gorgeous." I agreed miserably.

"And you're a fine looking fellow yourself. You have nothin to worry about." I gave him a curious look at the compliment.

"You're not helping." I mutter getting up and quickly gathering the discarded articles of clothing and rearranging them back into my closet. I paused before closing the door. All of her clothes were still here. Just hanging there. Honestly I didn't know why I keep them. I just didn't want to get rid of them. I don't smell them or wear them or anything weird like that. I just like to believe she's actually still here with me and not.. Well..
