I went to check on Drea in the guest room bringing her some food. Drea haven't been feeling good for a week now and she's been sleeping in there to keep me and babygirl from getting sick. "Baby I brought you something eat." I Sung quietly as she started to wake up. "I ain't hungry baby." She said in her sleepy voice. "Bae you gotta eat something I let you slide last night but not today baby please just eat something." I said sitting next to her leaning on back against the head board. "I'll eat later I promise." She said laying her head on my lap. "Drea you said the yesterday just eat a little bit now and some later." I said running my fingers through her hair. "Dredre sick Mommy?" Liyah asked poking her head from the door. " Yes baby she don't feel good. Go play in your room babygirl and I'll take you to the store later ok?" I told her. "K Mommy." She said skipping to her room. "Girl wake up." I said shaking her because she fell asleep on me. "Baeee I'm tired just let me sleep your thick thigh comfortable as hell." She weekly laughed. "Noo get up I need you back in our bed room you need to hurry and get better." I whined sitting her up. She sat up slouching her shoulders. I sat cross cross in between her legs feeling her forehead and cheeks which were till steaming hot. "I'm trying to get better Bae." She said sounding stuffy. "You're not trying cuz you won't eat or get up." I said moving her hair out her face. "Yes I am I just be tired asf and did you go out with these shorts on?" She ask with a faded voice. "Yea why." I said laughing knowing why. "I should kick yo ass." She joked causing me to laugh more. "I'm sorry I had to get you food but for real babe get up and get dressed we need to go Christmas shopping for A'Liyah." I said as she stood up going in the bathroom as I followed. "Dang I can't even go to the bathroom you without you following me." She said laughing. "Cause I'm worried about you babe let me inn." I said knocking on the door laughing as she unlocked the door. "So you gonna come with me?" I asked her as I sat on the counter as she brushed her teeth getting ready . "Yea I need to get out anyway." She said now getting dress. "Yay my baby getting a little better." I said cheesing hugging her arm standing in the mirror. "Girl get off me before you get sick next." She said laughing. "Liyah come here baby." I called her from her room. She came running into the bathroom. "Yes mama?" She answered. "Dredre going with us." I told her to see her reaction. "Yay! Dredre better." She said holding her hands up dancing causing us to laugh. "Y'all don't miss me that bad." She said followed with a sneeze. "We do I miss your loveee." I sung squeezing her cheeks laughing. "Pick me up pick me up." Liyah told Drea. Drea leaned down and picked her up as she squeals happily. "Y'all making me feel better already." She said hugging me while holding Liyah still. We headed to the car and got Liyah and and dipped to Walmart first to let Liyah pick out what she wanted for right now and for some wrapping supplies. I let Liyah out the cart in front of us where we can see her so she can find what she wants. "Baby what you want for Christmas?" I asked Drea while pushing the cart. "That ass." She said smacking my ass causing me to gasp. "Stoop we in public you got people looking at us." I whispered laughing pushing her away as she laughed. "So, now they know who you belong to." She grabbing it again laughing harder as I swatted her hand. "You gotta be better now doing all this." I said shaking my head laughing. "Your love is my medicineeee." She Sung in my ear causing me to laughing at the cracking of her voice. "Get out my ear with your corny self." I said laughing more. "Mama I want that I want that!" She point at a princess doll with a sparkly dress. "Ok baby I'll get it." She handed Me the doll to put in the cart. "Snack mama?" She's asked me tapping her belly indicating that she wanted food. "Lets go get snacks baby." I said as Drea our Liyah on her back and we walked to the snack aisle. She picked out her snacks and put it in the cart and we headed to the check out line. "Mommy gonna take you to Auntie Amber so mommy can get your gifts from Santa." I told her as she nodded her head yawning. We paused for the stuff and went to Amber's. "My babyyyy." She yelled coming to the car. "What you yelling for?" Drea said. "Shut up sickly." Amber joked causing me and Drea to laugh. "Leave my baby alone her not feeling well." I baby talked her kissing her neck softly as she faked pouted causing Amber to laugh. "Ewww Y'all too much." She said taking Liyah out her seat. "Girl bye, but we going Christmas shopping for everybody for the Christmas party and Liyah we'll be back for her in like three hours." I told her. " oh ok take y'all time me and my baby will be just fine." She mocked the Medea movie. " you crazy but ok see y'all love you poo give mommy kiss." I told Liyah and she reached in the car kissing my cheek. "Love you." She said waving. "Bae you wanna eat now?" I asked her as she leaned her head back. "You, yea." She joked half asleep. "I'm for real you gotta eat something before you starve." I said as she smacked her teeth. "I can't I'm not hungry Bae damn." She said putting her hand on her forehead. "Ooo I know what ima do. Ima call ya mom and you know she gone come to the house." I said laugh no but being dead ass serious. Drea's mom is the sweetest person in earth, she calls almost everyday to check up on us and Liyah and she treats Liyah as her own Granddaughter and I love her as my own mom. "Ok? Call her." She said shrugging her shoulders. "Oh you bad now?" I asked laughing and she smiled. I dialed her number and the phone ranged. "Hey baby how you doing." She voice boomed through the car speakers "Hey Mama Grace I'm good what about you." I greeted. "I'm good baby how An'Drea doing? She doing better?" She asked. "That's actually what I called you to talk about." I said laughing. "Ma don't listen to her." Drea said. "What is it Nadia?" Mama Grace asked. "Your daughter is not eating anything she keep saying she's not hungry but she hasn't eaten since last night and it's 12:39 right now." I told her as Drea laughed at me causing me to laugh. "Drea you gotta eat something baby you know what I can make you something and I'll be at your house with it later okay?" Mama Grace said as usual. "Ight Ma love you." Drea said. "Ok now baby love y'all too drive safe and Nadia her to Franks burgers I bet she'll eat then that's all she wanted as a kid and ain't nothing changed sweetie." Mama Grace said. "Yes ma'am will do love you too bye." I said before she hung up. "You know you just set yourself up." Drea said with a smirk on her face. "And how is that?" I said driving. "That mean you can't get no head no nothing until she leave and you know she ain't gone leave till I'm fully better." She said laughing causing my to smack my teeth. "It's bad for you too cuz you can't be in 2k no nothing until she leaves sooo." I said flipping my hair laughing at her mugging me. We got to Franks Burgers got a table. "Aye wassup Drea how you been." One of the waiters dapped her up. "Been chilling what about you?" She asked her. "Same same I see you settled down bro and she fine as hell." The waiter said admiring my looks causing me to look away sipping my drank. "Yo chill out bro." Drea said as the girl laughed. I didn't even say thank you because if I did I would've been in trouble with bae. The girl took our order and we waited for our food. "Who was that?" I asked her. "My homie from when we were kids her Dad the owner and he co owner of this Jawn. We basically grew up together. Why? You feeling her?" Drea jokingly asked. "Girl stop playing your annoying ass the only one for me." I said rolling my eyes. "Aww baby gimme kiss." She said leaning forward to kiss me and I kissed her. "You gone get me sick with all this kissing." I said as she laugh. "Then it'll be my turn to take care of you." She said sexually rubbing her hands together. "You something else." I said laughing. "So what you wanna get babygirl for Christmas?" She asked me taking a sip from her drink. "I don't know I know she wanted princess costumes and more dolls that's all she said. We definitely gotta get her an outf tnfor the Christmas gathering too." I said as our food arrived. "Cool cool, what you want for Christmas?" She asked me. "To be honest I dot really know I haven't thought about it." I said eating some of my fries. "Bae eat please for me." I said sticking a fry in her mouth. "Ok ok." She said finally eating. "Thank you my love." I said watching her eat. "You a weirdo." She said laughing at me. "Because I love you ? And want you to eat?" I said laughing as she shook her head. We finished our food and headed to ToysRUs and American girl shop for my baby gifts then we headed back to the Ambs to get her. "I'm so tired and I miss laying in my bed yo you don't understand." Drea said resting her head on her hand. Liyah was already sleeping so I took her up to her room and laid her down. "Aww my poor baby Drea miss me." I cooed at her hugging and kissing on her. "Move girl let me get in the house is already cold." She said laughing. She laid on the cough and watched me out on the Christmas tree. After I finished putting up the tree Drea and I wrapped the gifts setting them neatly under the tree.
"Finally finished." I said sitting on the edge on the couch in front until the door bell rung. "That must be ya mom." I said to Drea with a huge smile on my face. I opened the door to see Mama Grace's sweet face light up with she seen me. "Oh my goodness hi sweetheart." She said giving me a big hug. "Hey beautiful we miss you." I said to her as she laughed. "Where's my sick baby at?" She said with sympathy. "Right here mama." She said watching tv under a blanket. "Oh baby how you feeling she said bringing her suit case quickly sitting next to Drea tending to her needs. "I'm better just stuffy and drowsy that's it. But how you been ma?" She asked her mom. " I'm been living baby. Where's my grand baby?" She asked excited. "She's upstairs sleeping shell but up soon though." I said fixing Liyah lunch. "Ohh I can't wait until she's awake haven't seen her in a while." She said smiling. I sat next to Drea on the couch as she put her arm around me because I was cold. "So, you two, more kids ?" Mama Grace asked. "Ma. Really?" Drea said causing me to laugh. "Whaat? I wanna know so I can be prepared." She said laughing. "Not now maybe when A'liyah is six or seven." I said. "Oh. Ok ok."Mama Grace said nodding her head slowly. "Momm- Grannyyyy!!" Liyah yelled racing down the stair to Mama Grace. "Oh babyyy I miss you so much." Mama Grace said picking her hug hugging her tight. "Such a big girl now gonna be granny cry." Mama Grace said causing me and Drea to laugh. This is my family and to me it's the most beautiful family A girl could ever dream of. Especially a girl like me a foster girl no more.
