As my phone goes off for the fifth time in as many minutes I roll my eyes and slide the stupid green incoming call button, "I'm really not in the mood. What do you want?" I grumble into the phone, my experience a few hours before putting me in a mood.

"What the fuck did you do!" Justin yells into the phone, "Dan just called me he's freaking out, talking about jumping off a fucking bridge cus of you!"

"Calm the fuck down," I tell him though my heart starts racing, "all I did was break up with him,"

"Why? You guys were doing so good," he asks.

"I don't need a reason," I mumble into the phone. And stick the spoon back into the jar of cookie dough.

"Of course you need a fucking reason!" he argues.

"Didn't I warn him? Didn't I tell him that I'm not the marrying type?" I argue back, "And what the fuck does he do?"

"Oh god, I told him it wasn't a good idea," I can practically hear him hitting himself in the head, "How far did he go?" he questions almost scared to know.

"He popped the question in a crowded restaurant, his family hiding, everyone was oohing and awing." I slam the freezer shut. Beep. I check my phone.

' He will be alright I'm watching him rn making sure he don't do nothin stupid,' Brian, Dan's brother texts me. Both relief and annoyance for the idiot he's babysitting courses through me.

"He will be fine Justin, I warned him, its his fault." I sigh.

"What about you? Are you gonna be fine?" he asks concerned. Always my closest friend.

"Why did he have to do it we had a good thing going," I shake my head and plop down onto the couch. "Want to hit the pub, Ty said this morning he's got a job waiting at Rufus's tonight?" I ask him smirking.

"You know you're a fucking bitch right Tess?" he shakes his head but I can practically hear the smirk, "I'll pick you up at 8:30 with the boys," he says and hangs up. At that I smile it's been a long time since I've done a job. I'm the best baiter in the pack, I enjoy it even if it's a shitty job. I least I get out of this wretched place.

As I turn on the tv the door bangs open, "Glad to know you haven't grown any manners," I smirk and plop down onto the couch as my gang leader Ty walks in.

"What's for dinner cupcake?" he eyes my body. Ty and I had a thing for a while and it was good because neither of us cared if the other was monogamous. Lets just say we both have attitude issues. And if we kept it up I probably would have been sent the guillotine. Well not really he would've just had one of his goons do it.
"Who said I was cooking Dickhead?" he smirks as he walks over to the couch and climbs on top of me. Look we can still have some fun. I'm the only one who can give him a hint of attitude and not be shot.

"Justin will be here later with the boys for the job." I moan as he rubs his hand against me and bites my bottom lip. "Ty stop," I say trying to push him away. He growls angrily, you don't turn Ty Stone down. You just don't. I have learned that the hard way. It's not like you would want to anyways. "Ty I'm not gonna fuck on the goddamn couch. The windows aren't even closed," Fuck I moan his name as he teases me.

I roll him onto the ground laying on top of him. "Isn't your brother supposed to be here tonight?" I ask him.

He glares at me and I hide the smile as I get what I wanted and stand up. "That dickhead," he yells as he walks to the kitchen. Ty and his brother Jay have been rivals since diapers. Ty's gang is only second to Jays. Jay is known for being reckless and cruel. That's how he got to where he is. The top of the food chain. Jay has never seen me before, and I've only seen him from the back seat of a car.
