"No Annabeth! Stop! Don't say another word about that waterfall." Thalia said agitated.
"Fine." Annabeth huffed and walked in through the store that had the words Ollivander's written above the store. Me, Thalia and my mum walked in after her. The store was deserted but it was piled with long rectangular boxes; sitting on racks, on the floor, on chairs, everywhere. As we pushed the door open, a little bell rand across the room and a lady bustled out from behind a shelf.
"Hello, welcome to Ollivander's. My name is Madam Fronsy. (A/N. Don't judge. It was literally the first thing that came into my head.) How may I help you?" The witch that now stood I front of me asked.
"Hi, I'm Sally Jackson and we are looking for a suitable wand for these three." My mum said gesturing at us.
"Well then, let's start of with you mister." The witch said to me and motioned for me to stand on top of a small stool.
She took out a stick like thing out of her her robe pocket and swished it around making a measuring tape appear out of thin air then with another swish of her wand, she made the measuring tape unroll itself and measure me while Madam Fronsy made a clipboard and quill appear and started taking notes all the while giving some sort of speech.
"Every Ollivander wand has a core of a powerful magical substance. We use unicorn hairs, phoenix tail feathers, and the heartstrings of dragons. No two Ollivander wands are the same, just as no two unicorns, dragons, or phoenixes are quite the same. And of course, you will never get such good results with another wizard's wand. Yes, Mr Ollivander made us all remember that by heart. Good man, he was. Now, I think that will do." As she said the last sentence, the measuring tape dropped to the floor, lifeless.
She put away her clipboard and her quill and moved to a shelf from which she took out a long, thin, purple box. She opened it and took out a fat, short wand.
"Here, try this one." She said, handing the wand to me.
I took the wand from her outstretched hand and, following the instruction she gave me, waved it around a bit. Immediately every bit of glass in the shop shattered.
"No, definitely not." Madam Fronsy said as she snatched the wand away from me and reached for another one. "Try this one then."
I waved it around like I did the other and the stool I was standing on broke into splinters, causing me to fall off it and land on the floor with a thud. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Annabeth stifle a small laugh and I glared at her before taking the new wand that Madam Fronsy was holding out to me.
Again, I waved it around and this time, a pile of boxes crashed down on Thalia. She pushed her way out and glared fiercely at me. Man, that girl was scary.
"No, no. Hmm, a tricky customer. Yes, he would've liked you very much." Madam Fronsy said. I had no idea what she said, but she handed me another wand.
It seemed like I tried a million wands before Madam Fronsy handed me another wand. It was thin and long wand. I swirled it around, like I had done with all the other wands. And then....the whole shop exploded.
Just joking. Just joking!
Okay, so. I waved it around and the scent of the sea filled the room and I heard the ocean as if it's water was lapping against the front door.
"Yes, that would definitely be the one for you. A scale from a creature known as a Hippocampi, a hair from a flying horse and the core made from half a feather of a majestic dove." Madam Fronsy said as the scent of the sea and the sounds vanished. "Now, how about you next, young lady?" She asked turning to Annabeth.
