Back in Time?

I woke up struggling to breathe. My lungs had felt as dry as the Sahara desert. I tried gasping looking around for some water but my vision was a little blurred and everything I saw around me was green.

"Stay still, I'll get you some water to drink" a deep masculine voice said.

I blinked a few times to clear my vision and it worked. But what I saw wasn't what I had in mind I would see, I thought that I was going to wake up at home or in a hospital room, I didn't know if they had green hospital rooms but I was also hoping that this was a dream or that I was hallucinating. Anything would have been better than the reality that slapped me in the face.

"Hey are you ok?" that deep alluring voice spoke again

I was snapped out of my thoughts and I looked at the person who that deep alluring voice belonged too.

"Take a picture it will last longer" that person, that guy said

I felt a blush creep onto my cheeks as I took in his appearance. He was about 5 ft 11" tall, he had slightly narrowed shoulders, brunette hair and warm chocolate brown eyes plus a good build. He looked about my age.

"Uuuhhh..... Hi" I managed to mumble out not expecting him to hear me

"Hey" he greeted back uncertainly, proberly wondering if I had a concussion or something.

"The names Lyne, nice too meet you" I said reaching my right hand out

"Mines Ash" he said reaching his hand out as well

We shook and I had noticed that his hands were unnaturally soft for a guy. I got up from my sitting position and took a really good look around. I saw a small wooden house that looked really old fashioned and that it was surrounded by a forest.

Wait I am surrounded by a forest when I distinctly remember going to sleep in my bed at home, how the hell did I end up here and with a hot guy no less plus we are isolated.

I turned around and looked at Ash in alarm as I realized my predicament. I slowly started to back away from him afraid that any sudden movements will send him in frenzy because just to be honest I don't know him. Ash saw me moving away and narrowed his brows in confusion until they suddenly shot up, as he realized what was going through my mind.

"Wait its not what you think" he said slowly as it seemed to him that I was highly unstable, but I was just scared.

"Then what is it" I narrowed my eyes at him

Judging if I could take him down so that I could run and by the looks of it if I plan my attack perfectly I can escape and try to find my way home.

"Lyne would you just come over here so I can tell you" Ash said sounding tired, hell if he is tired.

I nodded my head and made it look like I was going to listen to him, as I got closer I started to get myself psyched up ready for anything. When I got to a good reaching distance I uppercutted him on the jaw as hard as I can and elbowed him in the stomach. Now I not a violent person because I really don't like it but I had to do something to try and get home. Ash groaned and rubbing his jaw, in that moment I was concerned for I was about to reach out when I realized he was coming out from the stun I gave him so I ran as fast I can, not minding that the fact my hand was throbbing. All I could think about was going home.

"Lyne" I heard my name bellowed in rage by Ash and I knew I had to find somewhere to hide because I didn't want him to find me. By the time I found a hollowed out tree Ash had already caught up but I hid quickly just in time.

"Lyne, where are you?!?, its not safe out here" Ash shouted in hopes of me coming to him.

"this is not your time, time Traevil, don't you realize that" he yelled out in concern and desperation.

But I stayed in my spot, exhausted and I fell asleep trying to figure out the meaning behind his words.

When I woke up the next morning I heard the thundering of hooves and the shouting of men, I shuffled further back into the hollowed out tree as much as I could and tried to keep my breathing shallow. By looking outside I could tell it was early morning, I had shut my eyes willing the sleepyness to go away, well, that is until I heard harsh breathing right beside me. I turned around slowly hoping it wasn't a wild wolf or some animal that wanted to eat me. The figure seemed to realize I was there because it turned towards me.

"Ssshhhh" said the figure, I can tell that it was uncomfortable since it had less room that I did. I opened my mouth preparing to scream but a leather glove clamped its hand around my mouth.

I threw my head back and thrashed as hard as I could.

"Be quiet young lass, or they'll hear us" a gruff male voice exclaimed

But that was my limit, because I didn't want to die young and plus I wanted to stay pure as they say. I thrashed around some more and when his grip finally loosened I scramble out of their as fast at I could. But then I realized my mistake, there were ten armed men waiting outside and three of them had horses.

I held my breath hoping that they wouldn't notice me and slowly as I could I started walking backwards that it until I step on a twig.

'Crack'

That sound echoed through the woods. I stilled again hoping they wouldn't notice me, though unlucky for me it didn't happen this time. I was about to run when I had heard a sort of war cry and then I saw a man run from where I was hiding. He looked old enough to be my father and I figured that he was that figure from my hiding spot this morning.

As I watched a battle between this man and the others that looked like armored guards, I had failed to notice someone sneaking up behind me. The last thing I saw before I was knocked out into oblivion was that man, the one that was fighting three of the armed guards at once, fall onto his knees and he took one look at me with a looked that confused me so much because I could not describe it. When he looked back a sword came swinging from what had looked like the leader of the guards and his head rolled, then darkness had welcomed me.
