Chapter 8

*time skip Saturday*
Eren pov:
I was heading into the woods to look for Derek not for my training but I needed to ask him a question about my eyes and how they changed they a bit as I was going through I found his burned down house I step onto the porch and opened the creaking door.
-
"Derek?" Silence
-
"Derek? Where are you?"
-
There was still silence among the burned down house.
-
"Where the hell could he be?" I thought.
-
As decided to search around the house maybe he left a note or something telling where he went I check the first floor there was nothing at all I decided to check upstairs I go up the broken and barely stable wood. I checked the bedrooms there was nothing there either. And for the last place I checked the basement maybe there was something down there I go down the stairs and opened the door for the basement I took a look around there was nothing here But as I was down here I heard footsteps approaching and I also heard the heart beats of at least 10 people I got worried so I ran back up the stairs and opened the door as I did I look to my left and it was too late one of them had their gun pointed at me and he pulled the trigger.

"Agh shit."

I felt the sharp pain go in my shoulder I fell on the ground but I got up as fast as possible I started running and they did too but I knew these woods too well I started running twisting and turning and I got tired so fast for some reason then I found a tree and used it as a hiding place I sat down trying to catch my breath I heard them they went to the opposite direction I felt relieved but as I was trying to get up I felt dizzy my wound should've healed by now when I was walking I had to use the trees to catch my balance I could barely see my eyes were shifting from yellow then to my original eyes I felt sweaty. I was close to getting back into town I needed help I needed to go to my boss Alan he knows how to fix this he knows everything mythological but the animal clinic was too far I tried to walk but it was too difficult my legs felt heavy I saw a house I knew I was going to regret this but I had too do it even if she leaves me I was holding on to my shoulder I knocked on the door bell.

Mikasa pov:
I was sitting in my room reading a manga but in the middle of my reading I looked outside seeing the night star light up the night with the clouds going in front of the moon but as I was looking I hear the doorbell ring.

"Who could that be?" I say out loud.

I then close the manga I was reading and hop off my bed and go downstairs the door bell rung again.

"I'm coming." As soon i opened the door it was eren he was slouching in the door way he looked pale.

"M-mikasa." He couldn't even stare at me he then collapsed on to the floor.
-
"E-EREN!" As he fell I saw him holding his shoulder I moved his hand and it was a gun shot.
-
"O-oh my god eren what happened who did this too you?"
-
"M-mikasa t-take m-me to the a-animal c-clinic."
-
"B-but eren I need to take you to the hosp-."
-
"PLEASE mikasa please."

"Ok ok."

I quickly go upstairs and grab my coat and the red scarf I put my shoes on and grab the car keys for Levi's Jeep when he's off work I grab erens body and and put in the passenger seat I start the engine and start driving once I reach there he's about to close the shop.

"Wait sir?"
-
"I'm sorry ms but wait aren't you mikasa?"
-
"Yeah h-how do you know?"
-
"Eren talks a lot about you but what's wrong?"
-
"It's eren he told me to take him here."
-
"Well where is he?"
-
"Hes in my car and he got shot and hes not looking too good."

"Ok let's go."

We run to the car and he pulls out eren and puts his arm on his shoulder.

"My names alan by the way."
-
"Nice to meet you."
-
He hands me the keys and I open the door he then takes him to a metal table and lays him down he then goes to look through his stuff.

"Mikasa I need you to take off his shirt please."
-
I blush at his request but I needed to do it to help eren I then take off his shirt and it reveals his ripped body I put my hand on his shoulder and eren was breathing really fast.

"Mikasa." He slightly whispers

"Eren." I then hold his hand
-
"Ok mikasa I need you to step to the aside."
-
"No i-I need to be by erens side." He smiles and nods
-
"Okay eren this is going to hurt but it will help you."
-
He then puts the powder into the hole into his shoulder and puts his finger in and this made eren scream in pain I held on to his hand but then with my own two eyes erens eyes started to change to yellow then when he opened his mouth his teeth were like fangs and the tone of his scream changed to a some What of a roar I didn't let go of his hands once he was done screaming he fell unconscious but he was still breathing.

"I-is he g-gonna Be okay?"

"He'll Be Fine he just needs to rest."
-
"What did he have?"
-
"He got shot by a bullet it had a flower called wolfsbane."
-
"What's that?"
-
"Its a type of flower which can prevent a werewolf healing factor and also if you didn't bring him in he would've....died."
-
My eyes widened erens a werewolf?
-
"Wait w-why are you telling me this wouldn't he like to keep his ability a secret."
-
"Well mikasa I'm telling you this because eren cares very dearly for you his words not mine but I think he loves you."
-
Once Alan says that that word just echoed through my head the word love just sent a tingle down my spine I then look at eren.
-
"Why did he keep this secret from me?"
-
"It's because he was afraid if he told you, you would run away and you would look at him like a monster."
-
"Oh Eren why did you keep this secret from me?" I whisper in his ear I rub his forehead and kiss him in the forehead I felt a little tear come down my face.
-
"Here's a chair Mikasa you could sit down and stay by his side till he wakes up okay."
-
"Okay t-thank you."
-
"See you in the morning."
-
I hold erens hand and layed my head down and my eyes closed slowly.

Erens pov:
My slowly open from the sun gleaming through the windows I took a look at my shoulder and the bullet wound was gone I lay back on the cold hard steel and when I tried to move my left hand something was holding on to it I look over and it was mikasa.

"Was She here all night?" I thought to myself

I then tried to move my hand again but she just held on to it tighter then I hear her talk in her sleep.

"Eren please be ok."
-
I hate myself for making her worry I sat up and rubbed her head her hair was so soft as I was doing this I see her eyes open then she looks at me with widened eyes then she smiles.

"Eren!" She then gets up and hugs me.
-
"Hey mikasa."
-
"I'm so glad your okay."
-
"I hope I didn't worry you too much."
-
"Eren of course I was worried even....scared."
-
"Scared of what?"
-
"Your boss told me if I didn't bring you sooner you would've.... died."
-
"M-mikas-."
-
"And I also know what you are too." My heart jumped maybe even skipped a beat when she said that when I looked at her she had her head down and when she looked up she was crying then she smacked me.

"H-how could you e-eren how c-could you k-keep this s-secret from me?"
-
"Because I was....scared."
-
"Scared of what?"
-
"Of losing you mikasa because if I told you I felt like you would run away and look at me like a.....monster."
-
"Eren I would never leave your side I don't care if you yell at me or even ignored me I don't care just because your monster doesn't make a difference your still human and also because I...lo-."

"Morning sleepy heads." Alan said.
-
"Oh Hi."
-
"Is everything alright did I interrupt something?"
-
"No Alan But is it okay if you give us a minute please?" Mikasa said
-
"Sure thing." He closes the door.

Mikasa pov:
"Eren?"
-
"What?"
-
"I heard that you like too t-talk about me a lot."
-
"Y-Yeah I do."
-
"Why?" As I tilted my head at him
-
"Well... it's because I care about you and your the second person I really opened up too and you somehow make me smile and Its nice to see you at school everyday well what I'm really trying to say is.... your the best thing that ever happened to me Mikasa your a really great person mikasa from the bottom of my heart." Eren smiles at me.

"Oh eren."
-
I Then embrace him in a long tight hug he wraps his hands around me I then let go and his hands were on my hips our faces were face to face I was staring into those green orbs of his there may be a monster behind those eyes but he's still eren my heart was pounding I started leaning as did he.
_
*glass breaks*

Eren pov:
-
"AH damn it." Mikasa and I  both stopped at what we're doing I then get off the table and run to the sound.

"Alan what's wrong."
-
"Oh I'm sorry I just dropped something."
-
"Are you okay you didn't cut yourself."
-
"I'm fine why don't you kids go on home I can handle it from here eren."
-
"Are you sure?"
-
"Yeah its fine besides I think you have more explaining to do to your special lady." He whispers at the end.
-
He then looks behind me I turn to see mikasa at the door way I then turn back to look at Alan and he winks at me I then blush realizing at what he was trying to say.

"Ok I understand."
-
"Good."
-
I grab my jacket and mikasa and I both leave to the animal clinic and we go into the car that mikasa drove me in and I have a lot of explaining to do.
