"What? When did you get transferred to Seoul dad? But what about my friends? What about this house? The only thing that reminds me of mom is this house. You can't do this"! You said as tears automatically fell down your cheeks and you run away to room.

You were living a happy life till you were 5. But suddenly your mother was diagnosed with cancer and she eventually died...You loved her the most and were depressed for a long time. At that time your dad was busy due to his work so the only person you had was your best friend Lauren.
While you were recovering your dad was already in relationship with a woman and she later on came to live with your family. As cruel as she was, she always pretended to be a good mother in front of your dad but in reality she treated you like you were her servant.

"Why is this happening mom? Why did you leave me all alone here? If you were still alive this wouldn't have happened", you cried a lot as you kept on looking at her picture.

You were born and brought up in Gwangju and were very attached to the place. As soon as you heard about your father's transfer you got upset.
But he didn't listen to a word. The decision was final and you had to leave everything and move to Seoul.

Night before your departure

"Wtf no way! When did he decide that!? Omg no Y/N you can't leave me..what will i do without you? Please talk to him",Lauren said as her voice was shaking. You hugged her tightly and both of you were recalling all the happy times you had throughout your childhood. From being two cute 4 yr olds to now being two very beautiful 16 year olds.

"We will both FaceTime everyday! Promise me?" You said.
She promised and wished you a happy journey.

"Why are you taking all these rubbish with you to Seoul"? Your cruel mother asked with a rude tone.
"These are not rubbish, these are things mom gave to me. You wont get it, after all you're a step mother. I honestly dont even consider you my mother."
She looked out to see if your dad was around. Unfortunately he was busy. She immediately stood up and slapped you so hard that your face had a bruise."Shut up! You are just like your annoying stupid fat mother."
You couldn't hear such things about your mom. You immediately ran out of the house and your step mother didn't bother about you.

It was 6 in the morning and the river looked beautiful as sun rose..Everytime you were sad, you used to run to this place near your house. It was beautiful with a sparkly river that had crystal clear water.
It calmed you down. Ofcourse you were not happy with your life so tears fall down your cheeks.

You finally reach Seoul with your parents. Its so crowded.. people walking around on the roads, everyone seems to be very busy. Tall buildings that touch the sky high amaze you. Vehicles moving around on the roads. The sound of people, the cars, small kids playing, it never stops.
"Wow! A busy place huh?!"

"There's no looking back now. I hope to start a fresh life in Seoul. Give me strength mom".
