Author's Note: Welcome back! I hope your holidays were unforgettable! Now, time to get back to the drama ;)

*Meredith's POV*I run after Chase, but to no avail, she's already locked herself in her room. I can't believe after everything I've done for her, she'd betray me like this. I had Ethan perfectly under control; and now, who knows what he must think of me. I need to figure out a way to fix this.
I quietly walk up to Ethan's door, inhaling deeply before knocking.
"Babe? It's me... open up, please," I bleat innocently. After a few short moments, the door swings open, revealing a less than happy Ethan. I give him a small smile, which he doesn't return.
"What was Chase walking about? You're using me?" He asks sternly. I walk into his room, sitting on the corner of the bed.
"It was nothing, babe. She was just jealous that I've been spending so much time with you, that's all." I pout my lip and lower my head, looking up at him.
"Are you sure? It didn't sound like that," he looks up at me, pain laced in his eyes.
"I'm sure... I promise. Would I ever lie to you?" I chuckle nervously.
"I don't know, Meredith. Would you?" He retorts. I'm taken aback by his response. He's never questioned me before.
"Of course I wouldn't! Why would you say that?"
"I feel like you haven't been entirely honest with me lately," he looks up at me, momentarily revealing the pain in his eyes. "It feels like you're hiding something from me."
If I don't come up with something now, I just might jeopardize this entire plan.
"You're right, Ethan," I say with a sigh. "I've been acting out lately without giving you a real reason why, and you don't deserve that."
I motion for him to come and sit next to me; he obliges. I grab both of his hands, looking down at them. Alright Meredith, let's get some tears flowing to really sell it.
"Babe? It's okay... you don't have to cry. We're a couple; we should share things with each other," Ethan places his hand along my jaw, slightly lifting my chin to face him.
"I know, I know. I'm sorry," I inhale sharply, "I sometimes act out because... I just care about you so much, you know? I get jealous and a little too overprotective."
Ethan's eyes instantly gloss over; he embraces me abruptly. "I've always felt the same way," he hums. Mission accomplished.
I slowly pull away, meeting his eyes. "I never knew how to admit that to you without sounding crazy."
He says nothing, just stares at me lovingly. I cautiously lean in for a kiss, curious as to how far I can take it. He visibly tenses as our lips meet, not reciprocating the kiss.
I awkwardly pull away and his face flushes. "I-I'm not really good at these things," he smiles sheepishly.
"Don't worry, babe. All things take practice," I say with a small laugh. I guess I'll keep calling Antonio over.
"Hey, I have an idea. Next week, I'll make us a romantic, candle-lit dinner! How does that sound?" I ask excitedly, flashing him a large smile.
"Wow, babe. That sounds amazing!" His eyes glimmer. This is just too easy.
"I'd do it sooner, but I'm busy with my modeling... and stuff."
"It's no problem, babe. No pressure!" He grabs my right hand, placing a gentle kiss on my knuckles.
