In life you'll probably hate yourself. Hate yourself for procrastinating so much you write a final essay that's already due and are desperately trying to finish because the wifi turns off at 12:00 while you're reminiscing about all your life regrets. Or maybe you hate yourself for being so incapable in your eyes, for not being exceptional at anything and getting subpar grades when you know you could do better. Much to your surprise, that self hate fueled essay may actually be good and when you emotionally broke down at your mediocrity and self hate it was all for naught. Eventually the well of self hate and despair will run dry and you'll realize how self centered you may sound to yourself. Or perhaps you'll realize you need to stop drinking from the well and realize how toxic it can be, regardless the effect is the same. At this point all you can do is move forward. If you keep yourself fragile and vulnerable at any moment you could burst and rip at the seams in a way that will only make things worse. Don't leave yourself stuck and vulnerable because when life catches up to you you'll be broken down by time passing you by and the people who walk the path of opportunity deserting you when you can no longer move. You'll be a victim to loneliness and the despair will catch you much faster. So you must pick yourself up and move forward, strive to get to a better destination where you'll be safe and prepared to deal with the harsh and infinite lands of opportunity that we call life.  Prepare yourself for the vast adventure of life and on your journey you may come across the simple pleasant surprises that make it worth it.
