Dear Diary,
It's been a three months since Nick lost his hair. Our relationship has taken a turn for the better. I'm starting to get used to a shiny smooth head now.
Nick's getting weaker. Doctor said that Nick's not responding well to treatment. The tumor in his chest had grown slightly bigger, which wasn't a good sign. Nick can't walk for long without wheezing. Doctor said that he'd recommend a surgery to cut half the tumor out, but it carries a great risk, since the tumor is directly in front of the heart. It could cut off blood flow to the rest of Nick's body and lead to death. Since Nick didn't respond to chemotherapy, the surgery was his only hope to save his life, otherwise he doesn't have much longer to live.
The surgery's tomorrow. I'm praying and praying so hard that all goes well.
