Double Rainbow

Camila was in her bedroom, just sitting there waiting for a phone call. She had already been waiting for three hours. This call could change her life for the best or the worst. This was to find out if she would be heartbroken or the happiest she has ever been. It is currently eleven at night and Camila is fighting her eyes to stay awake. Her boyfriend had just left her for some blonde attention seeker with a butt and a rack.

'Made to fit, like a fingerprint

Lauren was contemplating on calling her best friend to tell her, her true feelings she had. Her best friend just lived at the end of the street to her best friend and she is thinking of going to her house to talk to her face to face. Lauren finally decided to put on her snow jacket because it was minus three degrees outside or that's what it felt like to her.

Camila heard something that sounded like rocks hitting her window so she walked towards her window nearly half as big as her room and looked down to see a rugged up Lauren throwing snowballs at her window. She quickly ran down the stairs being careful not to fall flat on her face.

Lauren was waiting at Camila's front door; she could hear the quiet pitter-patter of footsteps running towards the door. The door silently opened and Lauren was dragged inside the house and into her friends' arms. Camila tightly hugged her frozen best friend trying to radiate her warmth to her. Lauren didn't care that she was cold, she was in Camila's arms and that was all that mattered to her.

'Was a phenomenon when you came along

Yeah, our chemistry was more than science

It was deafening, loud like lightning, it was striking

You couldn't deny it'

Camila and Lauren have been friends for since they were in nappies. They are now both in year eleven at school (seventeen years old) and they are loving their school life. Camila was getting bullied by some of Laurens friends, so Lauren dumped her friends and stood up for her. Both girls had a secret that not even each other new about.

After Camila felt the cold from outside forgetting that she left the door open she quickly closed the front door and led Lauren up to her bedroom making sure they didn't wake up her parents or little sister Sofi.

The girls walked through Camila's door and Lauren went to Camila's set of doors to get some of her clothes she leaves her if she doesn't bring any clothes. Camila turned on her bedside lamp that was the shape of a bow (obviously) and sat on her bed waiting for her friend to return.

A few moments later Lauren returned and sat beside Camila after putting her clothes beside her side of the bed.

'To the bottom of the sea, I'd go to find you

"What are you doing her Lauren?"

Camila was shocked that her best friend came at eleven thirty at night to see her.

"I needed to see you, I missed you and I came to do this."

Lauren slowly leaned over to Camila and softly caressed her cheek before leaning forward to connect her lips onto Camila's. Camila was shocked at first but then reciprocated the kiss and pushed Lauren towards her bedhead and put her hand on her chest to push her down on her back.

They kept kissing until Camila pulled back and pecked Laurens lips once and straddled her just looking into her eyes.

"Camz? What's wrong?"

Camila didn't notice that she was crying until Lauren pointed it out.

"I just never thought you would be my first kiss. I am so glad that you were though. I have been waiting to do that for a very long time." Camila leaned down to kiss Lauren again. Once on her forehead, second on her nose, third on her cheek and finally the last one on her lips, making them linger few a little while.

"Camz, will you be my girlfriend? I want to treat you like the princess you are and I can be your prince charming. I want to show you to the world. I want to show the world that you are my double rainbow. You are so hard to find and wherever you go, I will always be by your side. I want to be there when you cry, when you are happy and when you are in need of comfort. I want to marry you. Have a family with you and show you that you are worth everything that you are."

Lauren was staring at Camila and she notice that she had tears in her eyes. She didn't mean to make her best friend cry. She was just speaking from the heart.

"I'm sorry Camila, I'll just leave."

As she was leaving Camila got a hold of her wrist and kissed her with all the love and passion she could muster in that moment.

"What do you think you are doing? Leaving after you said that amazing speech? Of course I'll be your girlfriend Lolo. I love you."

Lauren had the biggest smile on her face and kissed her girlfriend.
