Chapter 1: The Past

It was over. It was all gone. Destroyed in a under an hour. Logan's home was gone. He sat in his childhood home alone and scared. An hour ago invaders came to his village and destroyed it with ease. Logan's people where peaceful and did not believe in violence so there was no defense against them. Logan's father was killed before his eyes. His father was the leader of his village and was killed first as an example. Logan hid in his secret chamber in his room as they murdered him. Logan watched through the hole in the wall as they dragged his body away. Logan did not understand why this happened or why they did this. But when the shooting finally stopped Logan came out and saw his village destroyed. He was filled with emotions and pain. All this violence and for what? He was only ten years old but he understood the difference between pointless violence and necessary violence. This was violence of the pointless kind. He cursed his stupid gods for allowing this to happen. This was when Logan's life truly began.
