5 Years Later ....

"LOGAN!!!" Logan's Boss yelled angrily.

"What Boss?" Logan asked as he hauled another twenty pounds of fish up the dock.

"Your behind on your work!" Logan's Boss said

Logan sighed and dropped the fish on top of the stack. He had been working for George for two years now and still he hated him. Ever since he moved to The City he had been meeting annoying people like George and he missed his village.

"Thats it Logan! Your Fired!" George said as he stormed away.

Logan was not surprised and did not care. He walked off the dock and started his walk home. He walked past the Mountain as he did everyday but today he stopped. He looked at the Mountain and suddenly felt a longing to see what secrets it held. His people believed that the Eternal Gods used the Mountain to store the Eternal Masks, but his people where all dead now except for him. He looked at the Mountain and suddenly leapt over the fence. He took off his jacket and threw it to the ground. Then he started to climb. He pushed himself up the steep rock face and then he stood facing the next challenge. The Mountain went straight up from here. He grabbed one rock and pulled up his muscles strained. He leapt to the next rock grabbing it with two hands and swung to the next rock. He leapt from rock to rock with a unusual strength until The Mountain finally became flat again. He looked down and he could see the City below him. It extended far beyond his sight and was twinkling with lights. Logan turned around to face the next challenge, now he had to travel through dense forest. He walked for about half an hour before he heard a roar. He turned around and came face to face with a full grown Grizzly Bear. It roared at him and he was frozen in fear.

"Shit." Logan said and turned to run.

The Bear chased Logan through this forest before it finally jumped on him pinning him to the ground. The Bear raised it's paw and swiped at Logan's face, creating a large gash on his face. Logan cried in pain and the Bear put its paw on Logan's neck. Logan's vision turned red as the blood dripped down to his eye. Logan tried to push the Bear off but he could not, he was helpless. Logan flashed back to the night of his village's massacre watching his father being killed. He remembered the scream's of the wives and children as the invaders slaughtered them. He screamed in anger and threw the Bear off him. He rose to his feet and the Bear charged at him. He grabbed the Bear and held it as it clawed at his stomach creating a large wound in his stomach. The Bear slowly pushed him to the ground lower and lower. Logan felt the exhaustion inside him as he started to loose more and more blood. But then again he felt the strange burst of strength and threw the Bear off him. He looked down and his shirt was in tatter's and he was covered in blood but his wounds where gone. He looked up at the Bear and suddenly the Bear's face changed to the man's face who killed his father. He let out a bloodcurdling scream and charged at the Bear. He wrapped his hands around the Bear's neck and slowly choked it. He looked at the Bear again and saw the Bear helpless and weak now. Logan let go of the Bear and it looked at him and suddenly disappeared in a ball of smoke.

"What the ....." Logan said his mouth gaping.

Then Logan looked up at the top of the mountain again and continued his ascent.
