"What?" Derrick asks as soon as they find another private room.

"What do you mean 'what'?" grumbles Leana, turning away from him.

Derrick sighs, "Look. I am sorry. I didn't know."

Leana turns back around with tears in her eyes, "You didn't know."

Derrick smiles at her sadly and puts his arms around her. Leana breaks down. Leana smiles all of a sudden and hugs Derrick so hard that he couldn't breathe, "Derrick! I know who really will be the betrayer/killer and who will die."

Leana does her little victory dance right then and there. Derrick has never seen Leana so happy in her life. Then, she freezes, "No ... No! NO! NO! NO!"

Derrick blinks in surprise, "What's wrong?!"

Leana realizes that she was not alone and her eyes go wide with that. Derrick gets concerned and asks in Hausa, "Me kake bani gaya mani ba?! Kana lafiya?!"

Leana smiles sadly and whispers, "Mene ne ya ce? Ba za ku ji daɗi ba, kuma ba zan iya tsayawa don ganinku ba."

Derrick cocks his head and switches back to English, "What do you mean?!"

Leana realizes what she said and covers her mouth with both hands as her eyes go wide. Now let's travel back in time to visit myself when the prophecy was made.

----

After the incident of meeting the god, I went home with my muscles aching terribly because of the fight we had. I stumbled into my room, changed into my nightdress, and crawled into my canopy bed.

Me being the Goddess of Everything, including prophecy, jerked up in bed later that night. I listened intently and heard someone in the kitchen. I grabbed the chilli peppers and club from underneath my bed and stalked out into the hallway. I peeked around the door to the kitchen only to freeze.

I frowned stepping into the moonlight that was shining through the broken window above the sink, "What do you think you are doing?"

He jumps at least a foot into the air and turns around, "What do you think?! You just left me in the forest after telling me who you were."

I laugh, "So, let me get this straight. You came here to introduce yourself?! That is the dumbest reason!" I peek around him, "And what are you doing going through my knives rack?!"

He looks at his shoes and up through his eyelashes sheepishly. I raise an eyebrow, "You do know that trying to make me fall for you isn't going to work?! Right?!"

He scowled and held his shin up in a dignified manner, "What if I told you I wasn't trying to make you fall for me?"

I shrugged setting the chilli peppers and club on the kitchen table and walked around to prepare a midnight snack. As I took out some lettuce, tomato, and other things to make a salad the boy talked, "I never got to introduce myself. My name is Liam Warren."

I froze for a second then simply shrugged, filling myself a glass of water, "Never heard."

The Warren Family was the most prestigious family in the universe, and they are only second after my family. His face was priceless when I turned around to face him, "WHAT?!"

I laughed. His face softened a little and he chuckled, "You have a twinkling sound for a laugh."

I froze again and said teasingly, "Jealous that I have a beautiful laugh?"

I poured Warren a glass of water and set the salad in front of him. He looked surprised and I smiled at him and sat on the counter next to the sink. He mustn't have eaten in awhile because he immediately finishes the salad and is soon gulping down the water as I finish half of my salad. I chuckle as he offers to wash his plate.

As I wash the dishes he sits in my spot next to me and all the while messing with his bracelet. I ask him what it is, which he answered with a shrug, and we are soon laughing and teasing each other. I finish and dry my hands as I ask, "Are you going to fix my broken window?"

He looks back at the broken window then back at me, "Sure, but do you have and iron filings or grave salt?"

I smirked but nodded all the same, "What? Can't do the incantation without help?"

He turns red and nods, looking down at his feet. I put a hand on his shoulder and he looks up at me in surprise, "'Tis perfectly fine. I needed it too the first time. Here."

I handed him a small bag with the grave salt and stood back to watch. He carefully sprinkles some of the grave salt onto the broken pieces and window. He kneels down with his palms to the ground and starts chanting, "Betulkan dan buat lagi, betulkan dan buat lagi, betulkan dan buat lagi!"

I clap my hands when the window is fixed and he bows in return.
