The queen survived the endless rows of knights before her. She could not lie to them."The King is dead." She began. But stopped at the mutterings that followed. Once they calmed down she continued. "You no longer have to fight for the crown. But the Lord of Darkness is coming and he will destroy all." She stopped to draw a breath. "Unless you stop him. You can run. You will most likely survive. But I know that with your help, we can defeat it. Some will die but we will win. I am sure of it. But only if all of you stay."

"He killed the King, his majesty, my husband-" She chocked on her own breath. A single tear ran down her face. "He died to protect you all. I ask that you save our homes and avenge his and his comrades honer. I ask that you do it for the King. Because of all he has done for you. Please I beg you. Stay."Showing no hesitation. The Throne room shook as the knights drew their swords and raised them into the air. In unison they chanted.

"For the King!"

And no words could describe the tears of joy that ran down the queen's face as she looked upon them all.
