A New Prophecy

Shad's POV:

"I don't know boy, but you have three minutes to explain what you just did" A female voice said and I smirked

"I just killed the Chimera and Echidna because they were attacking the fort" I explained as I felt the tip of the metal press further into my neck

"Don't be a smart ass with me boy, now explain to me how you were able to teleport and stab Echidna, how you summoned those warriors, or how you survived being in that fire" the voice said and I chuckled

"I don't like being held at weapon point, so why don't you pull back before you get hurt" I said dead seriously and the voice laughed before pressing deeper into my neck almost enough to draw blood, a bad idea as it would be golden and not red

"Too bad! Now tell me or I will shoot you" She growled and I sighed

"Do it, you won't" I taunted as I shifted myself into a shadow like form just as a silver arrow shot through my form

I solidified and jumped forward before turning around and deflecting the next arrow.

"What did you just do!" The girl said as she notched another arrow and aimed at me

I smirked as my eyes glowed pure black, and I summoned shadows to lift me into the air.

"I am the Lord of Shadows, while my half brother is the ghost king, my umbra-kinesis is unmatched by any other" I said as I dropped down and took a good look at who was threatening me and was shocked that it was lady Artemis

I quickly dropped to a knee and bowed my head.

"My apologies lady Artemis" I said respectfully as I knew Artemis had a perplexed expression

"Rise demigod, who are you?" She asked as I stood up and she readied her bow but didn't aim it at me

"My name is Shad, no last name, son of Hades and Lord of Shadows" I say and Artemis nods but narrows her eyes

"You were the one that scared the living shit out of Zeus correct?" She asked and I nodded as I gripped my sword tighter preparing to deflect another arrow "Good, He deserves it" Artemis said and I raised an eyebrow "Now answer my questions boy!" She shouted as she raised her bow again and I was about to pull my sword out when Sarah and Susie jumped in my way confusing Artemis

"Leave him alone!" Sarah shouted

"Yeah! You big meanie!" Susie yelled and I sighed as I willed my sword away and pulled my bow off and notched an arrow

"Move you two, she means no harm" I said as I pushed past them and pulled my arrow back making sure the moonlight that was shining down hit the bow so it would be seen easily

It worked, Artemis gasped before tightening her stance and her eyes flashed dangerously.

"Where did you get that bow!" She demanded as she shot the arrow

I released my arrow and the two projectiles collided and we both notched another arrow.

"A friend gave it to me, before he was killed" I said coldly but with a smirk that proved that I was having a bit of fun

"GIVE IT BACK!" She yelled in fury as she unloaded a volley of arrows at me

I met the volley with my own, knocking each arrow out of the air with ease before surging forward and extending the hidden blade on my right hand. I reached Artemis who was shocked that I deflected each arrow and I immediately put her into a choke hold before gently placing the blade at her neck.

"GET OFF OF ME" she shouted but I held firm using my strength from Ares

I quickly switched my blades so that my left was at her throat while my right retracted as I quickly brought out Riptide in pen form and held it in front of her face.

"Only, two people can hold this, its creator and its true owner" I whispered in her ear and she froze

"P-P--" She started but I pressed the blade closer

"Shh, don't say anything, and I am sorry about doing this but I need to talk to you without you ripping my head off, my sister wouldn't like that. Meet me out here when everyone has gone to sleep, the Chimera attack has everyone on edge. So tomorrow night" I whispered and she shook her head

"My chariot is the safest spot, shall we go?" She whispered and I nodded as I retracted my hiddenblade and relaxed my hold so she could flash us away

Artemis gripped my arm and flashed away, bringing me along. When I could see properly without the supernova of light in my eyes, I saw that we were high in the air in a silver chariot. I quickly let go of Artemis and stepped away to the far edge.

"Again, I apologize for that, but I couldn't have you killing me, or harming me at all" I said and Artemis laughed

"I am not mad at that, if you are who you say you are that is" She said and I laughed

"Yes, I am he, the 'dead' hero" I said and Artemis smiled but frowned

"Per..." She started but I shook my head

"Percy Jackson is dead, I am Shad, known as Shadow by monsters when in my other clothing, I am the Assassin of Tartarus as well. Nice guy he is" I said and Artemis nodded numbly

"Shad, how are you alive? I thought you dropped into the Styx river and your soul was dissolved to purify it..." She said and I laughed

"My mother would never take my soul, I purified it myself before she adopted me" I said and thunder rumbled and I grumbled "Sorry for saying the forbidden word mom..." Artemis laughed and punched my arm

"So, how are you going to prove to me that you are who you say you are?" She asked and I summoned a flame of greek fire before extinguishing it

"True Heritage" I said and the symbol of hades appeared above me before shifting into three blue wavy lines that indicated me being the child of a sea

"Okay, I believe you" Artemis said with a smile "Hestia misses you"

"I miss her too" I admit which causes Artemis to smile before frowning again

"Shad, you mentioned a sister. What is her name?" Artemis asked and I smiled

"You'll find out Artemis, but before we head back, I need you to swear on the Styx to not reveal my identity unless I say" I respond and Artemis nods

"I swear" She says and thunder rumbles "Now let's get you down to your 'girlfriend'" Artemis says with air quotes and I growl

"She isn't my girlfriend" I grumble causing Artemis to laugh before she flashed us back to the fort where I found Sarah looking depressed until she spots me and she smiles

"Shad!" Sarah said while throwing herself at me and crushing me in a hug

"Yes, hello Sarah, please let me go... I can't breathe" I complained and Sarah let me go with a huge blush on her cheeks as she looked away

I sighed as we walked around the Fort with Artemis when we came across a familiar redhead.

"Lady Artemis, what are you..." She started before a green smoke spewed out of her mouth

"Rachel?" I asked but she looked at me with glowing green eyes

"I am the oracle of Delphi, approach seeker and ask" She said and I looked at Artemis who stepped forward

"How do we defeat our new enemies?" She asked

"Find the hero once betrayed
For he is essential for the demigod's raid
Located in a place once called home
Clues will be found where the demigod roamed
Son of the sea, death, and oath
Save a friend that you trust most
Fight as one on a field of misery
And carve your name in history
Realms split and cleave apart
Hero of the Damned, let your journey start" Rachel said before collapsing to the ground

"Well... Fuck" I said aloud
