~Alex's POV~
I walked briskly but carefully on the frozen over street, deep in thought.

Valentines Day was coming up and I couldn't think of what to get John.

I wracked my brain until the perfect idea popped into my mind~

Realizing that the day had slipped away quickly, I headed to my apartment fairly quickly. I noticed a dark figure little ways to the side, making their way towards me. I slouched into my hoodie and picked up the speed.

After getting little ways ahead of the figure I turned to see if they were still there. That was a bad idea on my part, for I came face to face with him.

"John?" I cocked my head slightly.

"Alex...I wanted to talk to you," John said, desperately.

"Look, I'm sorry but now isn't the best time," I blurted in a rather rushed tone.

"Oh..," He trailed off.

"Catch up later?"

"Uh...yeah..,"

I made my way back to my apartment, and after arriving I looked back on what I had previously encountered.

"I was a little rude, wasn't I," I wondered out loud.

~John's POV~
Ever since I tried expressing my feelings to Alex and failing miserably, I felt kind of empty inside. 'Does he hate me?' or 'Am I stupid?' kept on replaying in my head.

"John! Warm up! It's Valentines Day for god sake!" Herc nudged me.

"Yeah mon ami! We're going to Alex's tonight," Laf added.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," I️ shrugged it off.

*WELL HELLO THERE TIME SKIP*

~Fucking ding dong~

Alex opened the door, "Hey guys! Come in!"

The four of us spread out on the couch as Alex handed out presents.

"Awe mon ami you didn't have too!" Laf said, pulling out 'Large Baguette' TIGHTY WHITIES.

Herc pulled out god damn matching tighty whities that said 'Large Baguette's', "Geez."

I opened my present cautiously, praying to the Peggy Lord above.

"Well shit." Turtle tighty whities.

I just about cried...they were...BEAUTIFUL!~

Alex grinned, "I take it you like them?"

I nodded, hugging the underwear close to me.

"Hey John, you available tomorrow? PegLeg diner is open," Laf asked, smiling.

"Ehhh..Yeah! Why not?"

"Alex? Wanna come too?"

Alex nodded, grinning.

"Alright well Herc and I are busy,  ~wink wonk~ enjoy your date!" Laf took Herc's hand and dramatically sashayed out.

"Whaaaa?" My eyes widened and blush crept onto my face.

"Lafayette didn't put himself up to that task by himself," Alex winked at me.
