Dear Diary,
Today was the day that I finally get my new Guinea Pig after we had to get rid of Spike. I'm beginning to get over it finally. Anyway when I first got him I wasn't the most pleased because he had no eyes! I still find it creepy but at the time I hated it. I couldn't believe it!It was so weird, "Why couldn't I get to choose my own pet?" I thought "Why did I end up with this one?"
But then my Mum told me something that completely changed my opinion. About how you need to put yourself in their position. It's been completely ignored and hated its whole life. I would feel so bad if I got rid of it. I'm glad that I can give it a good home. I haven't introduced him to Squiggles (my other Guinea Pig) yet although I really hope they get along unlike Spike did with Skittles I've already mentioned the gory details before I won't go over them again. Poor Skittles. I still feel so bad that he had to endure that type of suffering. I'm not too sure what to name him though, he's that lovely orangey-brown colour. I can't wait to tell every one. I wasn't sure at first but now I'm glad to choose the one nobody else wanted.
