Chapter One

I remember the day I first laid my eyes on his vivid emerald eyes.

I remember it being one of the worst mornings of my life. I had just come home from one of daddy’s business breakfasts and was in need of some coffee. My first idea? Starbucks, so I hopped into my cherry red mini cooper and headed into town. Guess what happened when I arrived? Closed due to refurbishment, just my luck.

As you could tell I wasn’t a very happy person today, thanks to Mother Nature and her week long crimson river she loves to torcher us women with every month. Due to this reason I decided to head down to the local shops for obvious reasons.

Now, this was where my miserable, dreary morning turned into the best day of my life. Walking though the different isles in search of you-know-what, I was defiantly not looking where I was going (I’ve always been clumsy) I bumped into something or someone.

“Ah shit, I am so sorry, oh my god, sorry, I…uh…I-“I spluttered out only to be cut off by a deep husky voice. A voice that sent desirable shivers down my arm.

“Ugh, watch where you-“that’s when my head snapped up to look at him. Effectively silence him.

I remember us both just starring, him into my dull, lifeless blue orbs and me into his shocking florescent green eyes. He was gorgeous, that was the only way to describe him.

When I finally removed my eyes from his, I got the chance to look him over, taking in his tall frame-around 6ft 2 that was encased in a tight white t-shirt that hinted at a six pack and snug fit black jeans that seemed to hug his thighs, paired with off-white Supras. He had a muscular build but not overly huge, just right. Along with his breath-taking orbs was his plump chapped lips, so kissable looking I had to try extremely hard to contain myself. Perfect jaw structure and cheek bones that would make you go green with jealousy. I addition, his midnight raven hair messily styled into the ‘bed head’ look. Beautiful.

I let out a gasp as I noticed him taking in my acid-washed skinny jeans and fitted black tank top; my abnormal lilac coloured hair (dyed out of rebellion and actual like of the style); my lifeless dull eyes and my thin pale lips with a small lip ring to the left of my bottom lip and my small barely noticeable nose piercing to the left side of my nose.

I snapped out of my trance when my clouded mind cleared from a child crying in the isle over. I cocked a perfectly waxed brow up at the gorgeous Adonis in front of me. “What is it that you was going to say?” I asked eyebrow slowly lowering into a look of mild confusion.

“It doesn’t matter anymore, the names Noah” he informed me as he held out a sun-kissed tanned hand that not even a spray tan could perfect.

“Okay, see you around Noah” I responded, even though I was unusually bothered by the fact I may never see him again.

“Wait, do you not have a name mystery girl?” he shouted down to me when I was about to turn into the next isle.

“Skylynn, but I prefer sky” I said with a wink rushing into the next isle with only the memory of his deep, husky chuckle as I left.

A/N: Hey, this is my first ever time at writing a book so bear with me.
