“Kane says he imprinted on me is that true.” Katie says.
“Yes, it is.” Blade says and looks down tears in his eyes.
They both look up when they hear the gunshot echo through the cave.
“Noooooo” they hear Kane’s brother Mace scream and howl and they hear a thousand howls and growls outside the cave.
They hold on to each other as the cave crashes down around them.
Leslie
I felt the pain before I heard the noise outside. Something is wrong with Katie. I can’t communicate with her. “Jake” I scream at the man who is kissing me trying to distract me “Jake she is hurt. I can’t feel our connection it isn’t there. Jake let me go don’t make me hurt you.” Jake lets me go. I run until I see the men and women fighting around the collapsed cave. I start to run and fight.
Leslie Night’s tail stops me; You shouldn’t go fight they wouldn’t want you to. I’ll disappear soon I can’t survive without a rider She says as she fades out.
I start to run wanting to fight and another dragon scoops me up and traps me back in the room with Jake where he held me as I cried myself to sleep.
