Our Story (The story of Blade and Katie)

the first ending

Katie kept calm as far as the castle walls then she stopped. She turned to Blade’s most loyal knights. “What happened? What did I do, did I hurt him?”Kane inhales deeply and nods to Jake and Leslie. Jake holds Leslie tightly and whispers in her ear. That’s all she saw before Kane knocked her out.  Jake brings Leslie back inside the kingdom to restrain her as Kane carries her sister’s limp body back to a cave.

“Katie, Katie you need to wake up now, Katie.” Kane says as he holds her in his arms.  He paces when she doesn’t stir. “Katie!” He howls. Katie jumps up but immediately lays back down.

“What did you do to me?” Katie says then starts to cry. “Where am I? Where’s Blade?" A face of realization comes over her.  "It was all real, wasn't it?"  Kane nods and bows his head.

"Katie I need to tell you something."  He says and takes a breath.  "I need you to be ready though it's intense and you ain't gonna like it."  She nods and looks at him. “Katie that first night I saw you well I imprinted on you.  There's no way to change it and well Blade can’t be with you because our connection is strong. When you turned it pushed him over the edge.  He’s in love with you so much it hurts.  I can feel what you feel for him too.  I can hear his thoughts.  The only way for this to end, for the pain to end, that’s the tricky part.” Katie looks at him with a face of shock.

“Why is it like this?  Everything was perfect. I finally had that how do I fix this what do I do?” Kane sighs again.

“Katie you have to stab one f us. Kill me and never see anyone but Blade. I mean no one; he doesn’t want anyone else around you. You would be locked up all day. Kill Blade and live life with me risk free, no people would want to kill you.  I would make you happy I would be around. Leslie won’t die because Blade wouldn’t kill her. You could have children the place would be brighter.  Just think about it.” Kane looks at her; she is looking in his eyes.

“Go get Blade, bring him here.” She screams and falls in the floor crying.

“Katie” Blade’s voice says. She see’s him walk in with a gun “Baby I’m sorry. I’m not going to make you choose.” He puts the gun to his head.

“NO!” she screams a loud ear piercing scream. He turns and mouths I love you, I’m sorry.

Leslie

I felt the pain before I heard the gunshots.  Something is wrong with Katie I can’t speak with her. “Jake” I scream at the man who is kissing me trying to distract me. “Jake she is hurt. I can’t feel our connection it isn’t there. Jake let me go don’t make me hurt you.”  Jake lets me go.  I run until I’m at the entrance to the cave.  Night stops me.

“Leslie” Night’s tail stops me “ You shouldn’t go in there.  I’ll disappear in a minute.  I can’t survive without a rider.” She says as she fades out. I run in the room to find three dead bodies Kane, Katie, and Blade. I scream as Jake holds me until I pass out.
