Three Days. That's how long it's been since Aunt Vanessa's summer party and since Breeze had heard from Gauge. Well, technically it was two. On the first day, it rained, so Breezed pouted in her room, with the door locked, staring out the window, trying to see any part of the beach. Aunt Vanessa came to check on her.

A light knock is heard from Breeze's closed bedroom door.

"Breeze, honey, are you alright?" Aunt Vanessa asks, only to receive no reply, she looks at the door in concern and leaves a plate of food on the floor, in front of it. "Honey, I fixed you a plate of lunch with a piece of Cheerwine pound cake for dessert," Aunt Vanessa calls out.

"You don't even know me," Breeze cries out. Aunt Vanessa walks back downstairs.

On the second day, to her delight, Gauge sent her a friend request on social media, all of them, but it was on facebook where he also wrote on her wall, telling her hi. Breeze replied back, simply with hi. Cash liked the comment and Ariella loved it. Some spambot named Cage also liked the comment. It was also on the second day, while staring out her window, that Breeze spotted Cash making a visit to Ariella's home. Breeze was able to watch as cash knocked on the door and Ariella answered it, twirling her red hair. Breeze wondered if Cash had a thing for soulless gingers, who would be nothing more than the girl next door? Cash was returning Ariella's purple slippers she left at the party a couple days ago. He did not enter the house and Ariella could try to deny it all she wanted, but Breeze knew the ginger and Cash would make the perfect couple to accent her and Gauge.

On day three, the rain had stopped and the sunny weather had returned to Coastal Beachton, but Breeze still locked herself in her room. While taking a nap, she received a text that woke her up. It was from Ariella and told her to look out of her window. Breeze sighs as she gets up and walks over to her window that was directly across from Ariella's window. Ariella set in the window with a poster board that asked, "Are you up?" With a sigh, Breeze made one of her own, "Yeah." Ariella writes another one, "Meet me on the beach?" So, Breeze must write another of her own, "IDK." Ariella writes on a third poster board, "Come on, girl, you need to get out." Breeze must reply that one, "Do you think anyone will recognize me from that video that went viral of me stuck in the sand at the party because of my high heels?" Ariella begins writing, but then watches something on her cell phone and laughs. She then holds up her sign, "Oh, girl, no, everyone has forgotten that even exists, come on." Ariella leaves her window and Breeze knows she will be waiting for her outside.

Before Breeze goes outside, she side eyes the rest of the cheerwine pound cake sitting on the kitchen counter. She stomps over to it, picking it up and tosses it in the trash can.

Breeze meets Ariella out on the beach.

"Hey, girl," Ariella greets her, why so down? The man of you dreams befriended on like every app we have."

"I know," Breeze sighs, "I just miss him, that's all-And how was I suppose to know my collection of heels wasn't appropriate for the beach?"

"Well, if you want to see him, I do know where he lives," Ariella informs Breeze, "I could take you there?"

"Really?" Breeze asks with a sudden burst of excitement, "that would be wonderful, Ariella. Now, how do I look?"

"You look great, as always and me?" Ariella asks. Breeze wanted to reply that she looked like the girl next door. Ariella was wearing her glasses, something Breeze didn't understand why she bothered with.

"You look okay," Breeze answers with a smile, "now take me to my future husband."

Ariella leads Breeze a long ways down the beach and they cut into a path that leads the away from the beach and into a wooded area, at least the closest thing to Coast Beachton had to woods. The path lay between a lot of rhododendron, in fact, that was the only plant in these so called woods
