Once again I'm changing the names, but here is a true story about something I experienced tonight. So as you already read,I a tend air cadets (still not gay). We had a guest speaker so we had to sit in rows. I happened to be on the front row with Charlotte, Kim and Aaron. Aaron and Sam are brothers. Sam was sat on the other side of the room from me, but still in sight. Earlier I mentioned Sam and the situation we went through, so you probably guessed and interpreted my clear dislike for him. I am going to make it clear that I have no feelings for Sam at all, especially as he is still out with that girl...I think!? Anyway, so a couple of times we exchanged awkward glances that generally consisted of an awkwardly quick look away when our eyes met. So you know when even when you dislike someone that much, you still want them to acknowledge you and in a way see you with someone else and maybe make them jealous? Well my attempt may have pushed the boundaries? Because I accidentally started flirting with his brother!? Sam is 17 nearly 18 and Aaron is 14 (my age). Sam acknowledged and recognised my flirting techniques and wandered over to speak to the people in front of me. He smiled at me, so ignored him and carried on. The awkward thing is that Aaron was clearly not flirting back so I had to awkwardly escape the situation. Instead I talked to one of Sam's mates and had a funny chat with him, which oddly seemed to have a bigger impact than talking to Aaron. Oh hell I nearly died! The awkwardness!

To make matters worse, I had to teach the new recruits drill. He had to come over and actually talk to me to give me the instruction to take them back. Such a simple instruction, I yet I never made eye contact and pretty much ignored him and spoke to the girl in the front rank of the flight. Awkward!!!!! I felt really bad though, but I don't know I'm just going to blame it on him :D
