"Don't upset your dad...not now," her voice rang through her head, as she entered the shack like house which was her home. Empty beer bottles littered the floor, and broken syringes decorated the sofa. "Ever since mum died, he has never been quite the same. He can only live when intoxicated. Without it he's angry. With it he's furious." Her hands swept the shattered glass off the sofa, causing blood to drip from her pale fingers. She glanced around the room, running a hand through her ragged hair as she noticed her father staggering into the room, blazing with anger over nothing. "What happened to him? He used to be a businessman, with a perfect life and perfect wages. All that ground to a halt as the coffin was plunged into the soil, never to be uncovered again, my mother's corpse resting inside."
