When Faith Johnson learned that her cancer was terminal, the first thought she had was; "well, there goes my scholarship." And then, quickly following came the more panicked; "nobody can know about this."
She didn't know it - but she was reacting remarkably well for someone who had six months to live. But, then again, that was how she always acted - the whole student body expected nothing less from their valedictorian, or so she reasoned. And so Faith's ploy to make her last six months the best began, all while pretending like she wasn't about to get carted away with a luggage label on her big toe.
It actually works out fine, until the jock-ish, not especially intelligent, and unfortunately, good looking Dennis Lockwood accidentally stumbles on her secret when he knocks over a pile of his Father's medical files.
Soon Faith finds herself trapped between her lie - and the boy who could expose her to everyone along with her ridiculous plan.
