8:45 PM
I got probably five minutes of sleep before I woke again. I couldn't sleep here, in this hospital. I sighed and opened my eyes sitting up while pulling the pillow off my head.
"Stupid snow..." I muttered running my fingers through my tangled hair. I looked around, Anissa was M.I.A. I sighed again and looked at my watch. It was only eight forty five. Ugh. I got up from the bed.
Anissa had ran off with Adrien before I fell a asleep, that I knew. But there was someone it the bed beside mine, snoring rather loudly-- like a freaking chainsaw to be exact. And I knew Anissa didn't snore-- she kind of whistles. This is what I hate about hospitals, they just put you in a room with ANYONE I ranted in my head as I turned around.
My eyes narrowed slightly when I saw Nate sprawled out his back, snoring. I made a face, and walked over, leaning over him, examining his sleeping face.
He had a fair amount stubble, his lips were pursed and his eyes were tightened. With my index finger I traced his lips lightly.
Intrusive Much, Ay?
Oh shut up, let me have my moments
While I was tracing his bottom lip, he grunted something incoherent and wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me down onto him.
"Ugh" I gritted out through my clenched teeth. I struggled to free myself, with no such luck, however .
I bit my lip trying to block the feeling of contentment of me being in his arms. A moment later his hands twitch from around my back and slowly traveled lowered a small smile playing on his lips.
Just before his hands made it to their destination, Adrien walked in whistling.
"Hey-- WHOA! Ayra you are a busy BUSY girl!" He exclaimed, rather loudly. Loud enough to make Nate's eyes snap open.
"Adrien?" Then he looked down at me "Ayra?"
Awkwarddddddd
"Uh, Hey." I smiled "What's up?"
His eyes narrowed for a moment, then his face turned completely smug.
"Just couldn't resist could you?" He smirked.
I squinted my eyes at him and tried to get up, but he kept his hands tightly around me.
"And where do you think you're going?" He asked, almost seductively.
"Uh. Hello!" Adrien said waving his hand "Sorry to interrupt your little... freak-fest but they need a doctor to deliver a baby on the second floor"
He sighed "I guess we'll have to continue this later"
"Don't hold your breath" I muttered, getting off him, making sure to lodge my elbow in his abdomen.
Nate got up to and wrapped his arms around my waist. Adrien left quickly after muttering something about 'keeping it PG'. I bit my lip trying ease the feeling a butterflies in my stomach.
"Don't you have a baby to deliver?" I asked.
"Yeah but I don't want to leave you" He whined and I blushed.
"Huh. Well, sucks for you. I'm not playing doctor anymore" I said, crossing my arms.
"Why not? You're so good at it" He said leaning his head down so that he was literally breathing down my neck. I blinked rapidly trying to form a thought that wasn't tainted with desire.
"Hmmm. What?" I said breathlessly.
"Would you like to accompany me in the delivery room?" He said, but I heard. 'Blah blah blah accompany me in the private room?'
"That sounds great" I said, giddly. Then he let me go and I got my senses back. He took my hand led me out the room.
"Wait what?"
"Too late" He chuckled.

9:05 PM
"Okay. I see the baby's head. Prepare to push" Nate warned, to the screaming women. I wiped the sweat off her forehead then joined Nate near there bottom of the bed.
Now, I've seen some medical videos about the 'miracles of childbirth'. But this actually looked like a miracle, like it was defying the laws of science.
"WHOA!" I exclaimed jumping back, looking up at her "How the HELL are you doing this?"
"You're not helping" Nate, two nurses and the women said at the same time.
"Sorry" I muttered, taking her hand "Umm. I guess you can squeeze my hand if it hur--Owww!" She nearly crushed my hand. Oh, the pain...
"Okay, one more big push on three" Nate said " One . . . . two . . . . Three!"
The lady exclaimed as she pushed and I nearly lost the feeling in my hand. It was quiet for several seconds then the room was filled the shrieking of her baby. I wiped her face off with my functioning hand.
Nate announced "You have a beautiful, healthy baby girl"
They began cleaning the baby off and then wrapped it up, before Nate handed the baby to her. Her face broke into the most beautiful smile I ever seen. I sniffled, now noticing I was crying again. I scoffed at myself for crying so much today, while wiping my tears from my eyes. It must be in the water here.

9:18 PM
After finishing things up, Nate and I walked down the hallway back to the room.
"So what do you think of you're first delivery?" He asked, seating us on the bed.
"As cute as the baby was, but I don't think its physical possible for me to do that...THAT was the scariest thing I've ever seen" I said, running my fingers through my hair.
He chuckled and pulled me down to lay with him. Wrapping his arms around my waist, he held me.
And I let him.
