We talked for awhile then the boys left to check on the status of the hospital. As soon as they were out of a hearing distance, Anissa bursted into words on how much she loved Adrien all ready. I rolled my eyes and listened to her.
"Do you really think you love him?" I asked, seriously "After one day?"
"Yes" She said, surely "Don't you like Nate?"
"Well yes... like" I said "But love? I don't know"
"Does he always seem to give you a slight tingling feeling in the pit of your stomach?"
"Yeah... but-" I said, but she cut me off.
"And when he's not around aren't you always thinking about him?"
"Yes. Well-"
"Are you saying that this is some stupid crush? And when tomorrow comes, we'll leave and you'll leave him behind, like he meant nothing?"
"I- no" I stammpered "But... But It cant be LOVE.... I just met him. What is this a romance novel?"
"I can see it in your eyes Ayra!" She whispered, angrilly "The way you straighten up when he enters a room. How you're always dazed when he's talking to you. How you blush when he touches you. He always makes you smile!"
I tried to cut her off but she kept going, progressing to get louder and louder.
"You met him in a grocery store thirty minutes before you saw him again in a hospital. You're in a hospital for the the night because of a snow storm. You always seem to find yourself alone with him. You both are obsessed with Star Wars because you guys are DORKS! It is love Ayra! Now keep your stuborn little head still and let it hit you!"
And with that she stormed out of the cafeteria, leaving me speechless.

After awhile I got up, feeling a bit numb. I walked out of the cafeteria doors and traveled blindly. I went up to my room hoping to sleep off this uneasy feeling. I opened the door and saw Nate laying on his back, with his arms thrown over his eyes.
I sat down cross, legged next to him and played with material of his shirt, and watched it shifted as he took breathes.
"Ayra..." He whispered and I froze. I leaned over to see if he had woken but his eyes were close. Still asleep.
Awwww He's dreaming about me
Maybe its a nightmare
Maybe you should shut up
Note to self : Take a trip to the Physiological unit in the hospital

"Ayra..." He whispered again, and involuntary, I answered.
"Nate...?"
"Ayra, I love you"

I sat there frozen for I dont know how long.
He said he loved me
But he was sleeping
But he said he loved me...
I chewed my bottom lip as I looked down at him. And all at once Anissa's words came flooding back to me. As I thought about the hours we were here together I started to get dizzy, my eyes started to well with tears and my heart actually started to ache. I couldn't believe it, Anissa was right.
It was love.
THIS is Love.
I'm in love with Dr.Nate Brandon, my creepy fruit aisle guy.
