[Hoshitani x Reader] Mature Gentleman

Note: My dearest apologies for not updating, but now exams are over, so I'm back!

"Ahh!" You cried. Your mind went blank at the sudden surprise.
"Are you all right, [Y/N]?!" Hoshitani exclaimed while looking at you with a worried expression.
     "Y-Yep. Ah, I'm going to lose the skin on my mouth from that one!" You said and then took a sip of your water.
     "Pft! T-That was hilarious!!" Akatsuki blurted out, who was sitting across from you. Your boyfriend, three of his senpais, and yourself had gone out to eat for dinner.
     "You said eat! I'm hungry, I wasn't thinking!" You fussed at him.
     "Well, looks like everyone's drinks need refilled. Otori, will you give me a hand?" Hiragi asked while standing up.
     "I-I'll help!" Akatsuki said suddenly.
"You stay here. You must be tired. You told me that you pumped iron today, correct?" Hiragi questioned and then left.
"Pump iron...Senpai, you don't even pump your own gas." You pointed out in a low tone, knowing that he just wanted to impress Hiragi.
"Quiet." He responded while folding his arms. You turned to look at Hoshitani and he appeared to be sulking.
"Yuuta? Is something the matter?" You asked.
"Nope! Nothing!" He said while flashing you a big grin. For the rest of the night you all teased the carrot head...except for Hoshitani who seemed to be a little off. That weekend, he invited you out on a surprise date. When you came to meet him at the station you almost fainted. He was wearing a suit and looking very dapper!
"Well, [Y/N], shall we be off?" He asked while holding his hand out to you.
"Um, sure..." You said, completely puzzled by his actions. He then took you to a fine restaurant, 'Le Cigare Volant'. You had never been to a French bistro, so you were excited.
"Is the place to your liking?" Hoshitani asked once you were seated at your table.
"Yes, it's very pretty! Especially the view!" You replied.
"Then I'm pleased I made the reservation." He stated in a calm tone.
"You even made a reservation?! Wow, you're so thoughtful! Thank you, Yuuta!" You said.
"Whaaat?" He responded with his big normal smile that you loved so much. Then he suddenly seemed to realize something.
"Ahem! Y-You think so? Thank you." He said. You tilted your head in confusion. Once the bread came, you were amazed!
"How is this so good?! This is just a bread stick!" You exclaimed.
"I'm glad to hear you like it so much." Hoshitani said. He looked like he was forcing a smile for some reason.
"Well, here! Try some!" You said while holding a piece up to his lips.
"Um, all right...you're right! This is really tasty! Mmm!" He said while chewing. You then heard giggles around you. Suddenly Hoshitani's face went bright red.
"Uhg! I can't take this anymore! Come on, [Y/N]!" He blurted out while grabbing your hand and then ran out of the bistro. Once outside a little ways away, you two stopped to catch your breath.
"Phew! Okay, care to explain yourself, Yuuta?" You questioned in a stern tone.
"R-Right...well the reason I've been acting weird-Ahhhh!!" He started when suddenly someone from behind him jumped on top of him and pinned him to the ground.
"Thief!!! How dare you try to dine and dash!" The one who tackled your boyfriend shouted. You took one at the person and immediately recognized who it was!
"Yuzuriha!!! What are you doing?!" You yelled.
     "Huh?! [Y/N]?!" Yuzuriha exclaimed while getting off of Hoshitani.
     "Ow...that's going to leave a mark..." Hoshitani whinnied upon getting back onto his feet.
      "Eh?! When did you get here?" Yuzuriha questioned.
      "Why did you tackle me? I didn't steal any food! We only had bread." Hoshitani fussed with a sigh.
      "Oh? Is that all? Sorry! It's my job to catch thieves. Well, have a good night, you two!" Yuzuriha said with a wave and then left to go back to the bistro.
     "I forgot he worked there...I'm really sorry, [Y/N]. This date has been a disaster. I was just acting different because I thought you liked a more mature type. I was watching you talk a lot with Akatsuki-Senpai, so I tried to be more like him. I just can't though...I'm sorry." Hoshitani spoke in a sad tone. You had no idea.
     "Oh, you silly, silly, silly, boy! I love you, Yuuta! Just the way you are! You spoil me, you're sweet, energetic, and just so much fun to be around!" You said while wrapping your arms around his neck and stood on your tippy toes.
     "Wow...I really don't even compare to you. Thank you! I love you too! Sooo much!!!" He cheered while hugging you tighter. He then lifted your chin and gave you a soft kiss.
     "Hehe! Want to go get ice cream for dinner?" You asked.
     "Yeah!!! And perhaps some hamburgers and fries and some curry..." He said while grabbing your hand and leading you down the street. You smiled as you thought about what a sweet gentleman your boyfriend was.
