The lodge was in a fiery blaze, the heat if it hit Ashley and Mike who were the only ones who made it out of the lodge before it exploded. Ashley had left locked Chris out of the lodge, getting him killed in the process.
She sat there crying, until a hand press against her shoulder. It was Mike, he kneeled down next to her and gave her a hug.
"I'm sorry, Ashley," he says.
"I was too late, Mike."
"I know Ash, I know."
The helicopter flew over, announcing that they had found two survivors. They boarded the chopper as it took off. Ashley lay her head on Mike's shoulder, still crying.
The spotlight shined down, revealing Matt. He had made it down the mountain and was found near the lodge. He was put on a different helicopter.
Mike held Ash closely, he knew she couldn't be alone for long.
"Mike?" She asks.
"Yeah, Ash."
"Thank you."
"Well you're welco-
He is cut off by her lips on his.
He was speechless, she just kissed him!
He didn't know what to do, so he returned the favor. Her face was as red as a tomato. The helicopter landed and the got out.
"Guys!" They heard Matt yell.
"Matt, you okay?" Mike asks.
"Yeah, where are the others?"
"They uh, they didn't make it," Mike says looking at Ashley, who was hugging him by the side.
Matt looked at Mike with a confused look.
"So are you two-
"Yeah, Matt we are," Mike cuts him off.
