2-When it all started.

"So he just left! Just like that! Not even caring about you , his wife , not even his son who he always showed love to!" Said Elena shocked...

"yep, just like that .. " I was silent for a couple of seconds and continued "he just left like that"

"Sorry , i just can't take it serious , I'm sure it's affecting you , at least ask for a week vacation , am sure you need to figure out a couple of things". she looked at me sadly and held my palm as she talked.

"uh uh , espicially now is the time I don't need vacation , I basically am my family's bank , or else we'd be homeless , and oh god , you know how f ucking rude the owner can get "

"Oh please dont remind me of that douchebag " she said heavy sighing

"Hey girls " we both turned and saw Aunt Margaret

"Hey , aunty Mary , we were just talking about how much we've missed your spring roles " said Elena , I let out a low laugh

" Yeah , so right! We really missed them!" I continued

She suddenly came closer and cupped my face with her palm " I know what happened dear , and if you don't want to talk about it it's fine , but I just want you to know that I am always there if you need me , and if you want you can have a vacation"

she cut me off when i was about to talk "don't worry I won't cut out your salary" her hazel eyes, they just show kindness , she was just so kind , but I never asked for pity .

Although she was the one who replaced the kindness of my mom , -who thinks i'm feelingless - , yet i never asked her to feel pity about me

I did struggle holding a tear , because , when someone shows kindness , tell you you're in pain infront of your eyes , you feel like you want to just have a hug and cry 24/7

But i never let it out! I never let out a tear , It is a rule I'll never break , I say no to weakness

I worked for her since I met Elena , and she also happens to be the owner's ex wife , so , yeah it is complicated, because the money the owner's ex wife gives me , goes back to the owner , and life goes on...

As customers started coming in , I was busy serving them , and actually , being busy made me forget about what had happened , but I still couldn't forget Mike's face , so hurtful

what did this young little boy do to deserve this! To actually live through this! I feel like his pain is the hardest among us all , and he's right about it .

As sunset began our shift ended , it was time to leave "hey Joe , wait for me outside , i'll follow you in a sec" ... i rolled my eyes "fine Elena, the everyday Elena" . "Anyways i'm out , dont be late!"

I shook my head as i was going to go outside , i waved goodbye to aunt Mary and went to the exit door

"WATCH OUT!!" A loud high pitched voice shouted.
