There are six minutes left in gym class and the only person left on my team is me and the only person left on the other team is Keith. Again just my luck. Keith slowly picks up a ball and I do the same, everyone on my team is screaming at me to throw it and everyone on Keith's team is screaming at him to throw it too, except for Luna, she's cheering for me. " come on Keith hit her right in the face!" Screamed Amber, Keith turns to the bench and screams "NO!" And as he said that it was like I was moving in a slow motion world, I could hear perfectly what both benches were saying, and I heard what Keith said and so many thoughts poured into my head. "Maybe he does still care about you!" "Maybe he loves you too!" But I am quickly pulled out of my thoughts by Luna. She screamed "THROW IT" and without even thinking I threw the ball. Everyone was still in slow motion and they were all staring at the ball, and as Keith turned his head back to look at me the ball hit him right in the face. I was no longer in slow motion, when everyone from my side of the bench rose and started parading around me, but I wasn't paying attention because on the other side of the gym Keith was standing there just staring at me. All of a sudden I was back in a slow motion world, all the lights went out except for the ones on Keith and I, and everyone else disappeared. I could tell that I was daydreaming about the lights and the people, but Keith was staring at me and I was staring at him, and for ten seconds everything felt like the way it used to be between him and me, but then the ten seconds were up and everything went back to normal.
