intro | around this time of the year in 2015, I posted a list of seven books I loved at the time. however, this time there are only five on the list (have been neglecting reading new books on wattpad for a while, but there are a lot of extra recommendations though!) so here we go:
01 | Love in Action by sparrowed
hands down my favorite book this year. may or may not cry. 100% would recommend. good quotes. unfortunately for wattpad users, it has been moved to another platform, but you still can read the first two chapters on the author's profile. also details to Love in Action and where you can find it is in the book itself.
02 | Silence Breaking by RobThier
the fourth book in the silence and storm series, and while I wanted Rikkard and Lilly to get married and have wonderful Lambrose babies already, I also don't want this series to end- and this book is more 'romantic' than the previous ones, so it is a perfect solution. and if you decide to start reading the series, take your time, since waiting for Wednesdays is a torture. in addition, also by Sir Rob: The Robber Knight series, for medieval tortures, unknightly knight and a lady trying her hardest to remain proper - and also WARNING! Fairy Tales for psychotic bedtime stories.
03 | Slow Dancing by hepburnettes
there might be something wrong with me for not recommending this book to you guys sooner, because it is an absolute gem. also read everything by Noelle, because if I continue recommending her books, the list would be full in no time.
04 | Cheater, Cheater by simonesaidwhat
got hooked by the description, and I finally broke a couple of days ago, and read the book. however, it means that I am torturing myself with more waiting (totally worth it), because it is ongoing, and simone is currently on hiatus. also Once Upon a One Night Stand and Arabian Nights are good, well-written books (bonus: they are completed).
05 | The Town Series by greenwriter
the books inside the town series are gold. and it's nice that there are so many of them. makes living underground appealing, and that's saying a lot for someone who hates confined spaces and has the fear of being buried alive. more details on how the order of the books is on the author's profile.
closing | that concludes my top 2016/2017 books! and I know they are well-known authors, but hopefully, you would find something new - and happy reading, see you next year if I still have more recommendations to give.
p.s. check my new 'poetry' book, poetry, but not really, which I write to test whether I still have feelings or not. also, would love to hear more from you guys (dm me for nonsense talks, comment to recommend books to other users, etc)
well that all being said, happy holidays, and happy new year!
