Sam POV

At the beach. we just chilled. There wasn't much to do so we just went on long walks on the sand. It helped a lot to clear my mind.

"Sam, May I know what's bothering you?" Colby asked breaking the silence. "Uh, I don't think I am ready to tell anyone yet." I replied. How am I supposed to explain that I am hearing voices that nobody can hear? He will think I am crazy.

Colby sadly smiled. "Don't worry. You don't have to tell anyone if you are not ready to. " He said comfortingly. "Thanks" I whispered.

"Sam, wake up. I miss you love" I heard another voice causing me to faint.

Colby POV

The atmosphere was slightly awkward as we carried on walking. All of sudden, I heard a thud. I looked beside me and saw Sam on the ground with his eyes closed. Immediately, I checked if he was breathing. Before, I could process anything . Sam woke up. "Sam, are you alright?" I said softly. I handed him water to which he instantly gulped down. "Yeah" Sam whispered. "Let's go home" I said softly. "Okay" Sam whispered. I helped him get up and walk to the car. When we both got seated, I drove back home.

Sam POV

My head was hurting so much that I felt like crying. "Colby, I'm exhausted. I'm going to bed." I told Colby whilst walking upstairs. I think I need sleep.

After trying to sleep for a hour, I let my tears out. "pills" I whispered. I opened the drawer and swallowed one pill from the bottle. After silently crying for 5 minutes, I fell asleep.
