We worked through the night, trying to get the extra work out of the way while Jimin multitasks between discussing about My dad's attempt at forgery and cheating with Jungkook and Taehyung. The amount of coffee we had to consume was unimaginable, but at least it enabled us to pull an all-nighter; which wasn't a very good idea if you ask me because both of our faces looked like the grim reaper itself the next day.
"Christ, let's agree never to do this again." Jimin yawned, stretching his back against the office chair. I nodded in agreement, before filing in the very last document and throwing it onto the sofa that was already filled with about twenty more files.
"You owe me one, Park Jimin. I don't know about you but I'm going home to get some well needed sleep." I nudged Jimin who chuckled and ruffled my already messed up hair as I got up, shuffling over to grab my bag.
"Fine, I owe you big time. Go home and rest, I still have some things that needs to be taken care of with Taehyung and Kook- I'll be back later." Jimin said, dialing his driver to fetch me home. Waving goodbye, I dragged my feet out of the office and down to the lobby where I nearly fell asleep while standing, waiting for the driver to come.
When the driver finally came, he opened the door for me to enter. The minute I sat down, my eyes immediately grew ten times heavier; however, all of my sleep disappeared when a text came, vibrating my whole bag. Quickly, I glimpsed at the message and closed my phone- all I ever care about now was to sleep...
..Sleep that didn't come as easily as I thought it would.
***********
Having woken up to the ring of my phone, I grunted and picked it up without looking at the caller ID.
"This better be important or I'll make sure you regret it."
"I suppose going out for dinner with our old friends isn't important then?" That time all familiar voice chuckled into the phone, clearly enjoying my grumpiness despite knowing his impeding doom the moment he crosses my line.
"Actually, it is. Are Yoongi and Namjoon coming?" It was a stupid question really, because Jimin had already told me that there were no traces of the two ever since that day. He went silent, and I could imagine him biting his lip in hesitation.
"No. They're not," Jimin went chirpy again after that. "But the rest are! So, what'd you say?"
"Aren't you tired?"
"I'm guessing you didn't read the message I sent to you two hours ago then.. just come down to Hard Rock Cafe at like 8:00pm, they'll all be there. Bye!" The call ended, leaving me in a slightly confused state mostly because I just woke up and that it was already around 6:45pm. Before doing anything else, I checked the message that Jimin supposedly sent.
"Fell asleep in the office, won't be coming home I guess. Are you awake yet?" -Chimchim
Well, that was honestly expected of him so I won't question it except for the amount of work he would've missed out on. Anyways, I yawned and got out bed, washing myself up as I flipped through my clothes in search of something comfortable to wear.
In the end, I decided on a simple denim dress before I made my way to Hard Rock; which, by the way, wasn't too far from the house. It only took a twenty minute walk(or stroll) to get there, and I was obviously late but I simply couldn't be bothered.
The five of them were seated in the corner of the area, in order to stay out of sight from everyone else including what used to be their fans. Not wanting to be the cause of their discovery, I quietly slid into the shadows, slowly making my way to their table.
