Today was the day when mission "Ray of Hope" was to be launched. People all around the world came together to pray for the safe journey of the 5 astronauts. It was time for the launch, space organizations from all over the world had contributed in some or the other way. Today was the day they would know if their efforts would pay off or they would fail. At Houston, Mission Control, a big screen displayed T-Minus 30 seconds and a automated voice repeated the same. T-Minus 10 seconds... 9.... 8.... 7.... 6.... 5.... 4....3....2....1.... Launch. The launch was successful. Now the second part of the mission; It was to collect supplies for the mission from the International Space Station. The crew lead by Commander Jacob did this easily. Now, they continued their journey to Mars to reach the wormhole that would transport them to their destination.
