Chapter one
Get to know the dogs
Once there was a puppy named Silver. She was A content little puppy with her mom and siblings but, the only problem was that they were stray's. They lived under a bridge in a den in a park by a small river and a massive forest. They would get their water from the river and usually people would throw them a few scraps they had from a dinner/cafe next to the park. The people would get their food and see the Siberian huskies and just say "awwwwwwwwwwwwww" for a very long time. Silver would never know what they were talking about, but her mom, Winter would understand. She would always smile a big comforting smile that would always make her feel so happy and warm inside. Sometimes Silver would feel sad. She would remember her dad. Her dad was a hero to her and her family.This is the story. One day a huge brown bear came out of the forest next to the park. It was hunting for prey to feed it's cub, Lucy. But they didn't know that she was a mom. And of course newborns Silver and her and her mom and dad, Gizmo and her two sisters, Meghan and Kate and her two brothers, Toby and Bolt were playing in a field by their den.Winter told Gizmo to "watch her pups" then, she went to the cave and slept. (after all she did just have Silver and her siblings.) Gizmo did a great job in watching his pups. But out of the corner of his eye he saw a big bear, the mom of Lucy. You may want to know how silver knows Lucy, you will find out later okay, okay now back to the story!!!. So Gizmo looked at the bear and she was watching the cubs but mostly Bolt, the runt of the litter. Gizmo was staring making sure she stayed a ways away from his cubs. He was watching her while ready to attack if she were to pounce at his beloved pups. He was tempted to call winter but he knew if he showed any motion towards her she would grab a cub (a.k.a. Bolt) and run off with it. But then with a brown blur she ran towards bolt full speed. Gizmo immediately ran and attacked her. She almost got Bolt until he killed her. But, Gizmo didn't escape without being harmed. The grizzly bear scratched his neck which caused him to bleed. It wasn't severe but it did hurt him. Every night he would whine until one day his heart stopped just like one of Silver's idols Searchlight. But her dad meant more to her than Searchlight though *sigh. She really loved him but the one who took it the worst was Winter. He meant so, so much to her mom she loved him so much.
