"Sky Carrington come downstairs now!" My mom screams at me. God this is bad news."I am coming. Wait a second." I get out off my bed and walk downstairs. God what did i do wrong?"Young lady why did you not call or text me last night? You were out late and you never think about it to call me? God i was worried." She shouts at me when i walk downstairs.

"And how can you even know i was home or not? You are never home. I grow up and took care off myself because you were never home. Now you don't need to ask me everything because you found a men who cared." I walk upstairs.

I put on some jeans and a hoodie. I take the car keys and my phone and walk downstairs."I am out and i will text you where i am." I scream to them and close the door. I walk to my car. Who do they think they are? Now she cares when she didn't do it for years.

I drive to Jade her house. I am so not in the mood to see my mom or James. I knock at her door. "I will go. God just stop." Jade screams to who knows who. She opens the door and looks at me awkwardly."Hi girl what are you doing here?" She opens the door more.

"Fight with mom and i want to talk about what happened yesterday. But is it the right time?" She had a fight too i guess."Yes you came at the best time ever." She takes her jacket and close the door without saying goodbye."So tell me? Get my mind off what happened with me home." She opens my car door and sits in the passenger seat.

I drive to a little coffee shop nearby. I came their with my dad a lot. "I went out with Shawn and his friends of hockey." She gets closer. I told her the whole story about Shawn and my mother."About your mom don't be so hard on her. She tries her best now to get a better relationship with you. She really loves you." I nod because i know she is right.

"Shawn on the other hand he really likes you. Like he gets jealous when you were dancing with Ian. God Sky you have the most wanted boy of school wrapped around your finger." She takes a sip from her coffee. To make it more dramatic. "But why doesn't he just take a shot? I flirted with him. God i even told him i had my eyes only at him." She pulls her shoulders up.

"God who understands boys?" She says out loud."So what about you Jade? Are you okay?" I am not that friend who only cares about her problems."My dad is just a lot to handle right now. It is the time my mom died so he starts drinking again. I just want him to go to rehad or something. He really loves mom so he just will not stop drinking." She puts her hands in her hair. God i didn't even know that.

"Jade i will make sure that your dad will go to rehab. Maybe my mom can talk to him. You know they went trough the same." She looks up and i see hope in her eyes. For Jade i will talk to my mom.We get out of the coffeeshop and walk to the park nearby. It is not the same were i felt safe but who cares.

"I found a secret place. Lets go to their?" Jade walks further then the park. I follow her and we arrived at a lake with some rocks. The perks of living in America."This is amazing." I look at the lake and the amazing view."I know i found it when i was running away from home because it was too much." God i feel like a bad friend now. I always talked about myself and never asked about her."Hey it is okay. I didn't wanted to talk about it first but now i trust you. You are my best friend now." She hugs me. God this girl.

Sky is walking around at the place i showed her. God this girl had a rough past. I relate to her.
