A new day at work, pleasant as always. I am still quite shocked that I spent the night at my bosses place but I try to get past my feelings and focus on my work.
As I finish preparing the coffee for my boss I search for some papers he requested.
I open his door using my elbow because my hands were occupied. I see him typing something at the computer, busy as always.
I carefully close the door and approach the table, the sound of my heels echoing through the big cabinet.
"Coffe, sir? " I place the cup on his right. He was concentrated on the document and at first didn't notice me "Thank you" he muttered without looking away from the screen.
I stay silent for two seconds and then remember about the papers.
"You have also asked me to do a full research on the company 'Rone & G' I have finished it. May I know why them? It's a completely different domain from ours. "
It's not rare for him to ask me to research companies or people that we conclude contacts with, but a law organization? We are a major label in music industry so I was left quite intrigued.
From the corner of his eye he looked at me "Put them somewhere there. "
he made a quick gesture. Avoiding my questions huh? Well Can't change that, I shrugged.
"Did you contact [famous singer]? How is her new song going? Is it ready? " his eyes raised and now they are fixed on me. I break the eye contact and take a step back. He is just too intimidating.
"Yes, sir, I did" my voice cracks a little, "her manager told me that she is unable to sing-"
"Cancel it. " he caught me off guard. How.. to cancel?? My eyes widen and I look at him, unable to speak. He calmly continues to type. I snap back to reality
"IT'S IMPOSSIBLE" I rised my voice. He rised a brow at me, I have to think clearly,
"Excuse me, sir, but don't you think it is too risky? We already made it official, and the fans are waiting, we even wrote in the [famous magazine] about it we can't turn back now. "
He is famous for his ridiculous decisions he made after he inherited the company from his father, but I thought that phase ended??
"We're loosing money, we can't wait till she gets better" He said coldly.
"But that's irrational-" I can't think of good arguments.
"Smooosh pumpkin! ~" The door opened loudly and I hear that annoying voice, god how much I hate it.
"Loreen! ", my boss nearly shouted in the most cheap sweet voice he could make.
I turn around just to see how Loren cat walks towards him.

He hugs her, and she squeezes all her body into him. Pathetic.
"Smoosh pumpkin, I've missed you!! Why weren't you answering my dms last niiight?? I've sent yoou piics~"
The way she talks is so unprofessional. I wish I would be able to burn her right in this moment, but I try to hide my emotions for bosses sake.
They exchange a few words that revolve around her. I grow impatient and taking a step back say
"Regarding our discussion from earlier, sir, I think-"
His green eyes, now cold as the ocean in winter look at me. It send a shiver through my whole body.
"We don't return to that. Inform her manager. Now please, leave us alone" such a cold tone.
He is no longer paying attention to me.
I have a last look at them, how Loren behaves inappropriately is disgusting.
I am sure this won't end well.
I exit the room and the last thing I see is the smile of my boss who is looking at Loren.
