*Kudoks POV*
I throw myself onto my chair. It rols a little bit backwards.
I take a sip from my mug.
The coffee is now cold. How unfortunate.
-This Loren... Something's off about her..- I think to myself.
Boss would not like when I start talking about her...
Today there is an important meeting regarding our new singer, Sacher.
I cannot shove away the thoughts why she declined bosses offer to also attend..
She's an IG model after all... Some photos there would get her tons of likes, it's a VIP event....
I keep wondering, but suddenly a phone call brings me back.
"Kudok Lights, I listen"
A phrase I say already 5 years.. So touching.
"Hii, it's me Judy. We got a call from the 4th department... They have some problems with Sacher, small ones. Can Mr. Beln go and see what's happenin'? We can't afford to fail on her reveal! "
She was dragging the words as speaking. A little irritating, adding her sharp voice to it.
It takes a second for me to find the right answer "Mr. Beln it busy at the time. I will be sure to inform him. Thank you for the call".
We say our goodbyes and I hang up.
I looked at the time, 10AM.
The meeting is at 7pm, the way till Sacher two more hours, and I don't know the problem.. Small could be major when short on time.
We better head towards there right now.
I walk to my bosses door. Knock twice, as usual. After a couple of seconds I hear his voice welcoming me inside.
He was at his desk, Loren was adjusting her hair besides the big window, using the phone as a mirror. She ignored my entry and proceeds to take some selfies.
Mr. Beln looked at me.
"I got a call from Judy. She informed about some problems with Sacher. However I don't know what it is so I suggest we immediately go and check on her, sir. "
I notice how Loren give me an annoyed look but I don't bother. Boss always makes the company his priority, and even she cannot change this.
"Oh, well that's not what I wanted to hear on this big day" He stood up, and got his suit jacket,
"We better hurry up." He walked toward Loren at gave her a kiss on the cheek,
"Don't be sad, also let me know if you change your mind regarding the meeting"
No, I totally don't what her to come.
I think to myself and walk towards the door.
Once in the car I remember that I had to call [Famous gilys] manager.
I take my phone and find his number.
I explain the situation. His reaction was like of a child who was left alone. He told me that her situation is because of some 'family matter' but my boss could care less about those.
Our two hour ride isn't that interesting. Boss won't even look in my way. I think again about Loren, what is that strange about her.
I went to check her social media, never did that before for some reason. There I would not find anything specific but strangely she didn't have any photos with my boss.
That made me wonder again why?? Wouldn't she want to show off, thats her hobby after all, to show off.
I study her photos carefully, while being discreet so boss wouldn't find out.
I mostly focus on her posts before she started going out with Mr. Beln. There's so many of them, I had only to scroll past 200 to reach the ones I need.
After an hour of looking over her posts, one in particular caught my interest. One from January this year.
My eyes widen in shock when I understand that she is in the restaurant placed inside the 'Rone&G"
company build.
I understood that from the menus but still, that company tries to buy ours.
I remember the research I did on them, you can only get inside the complex by working there, or being accompanied by a someone from the top.. She's a model she has nothing related to law.. She doesn't even know how to properly read!! She uses mostly emojis so no one would see that her grammar is awful.
I can't put everything together.. I don't have enough information

All the tries of understanding her mentality are so exhausting, I make myself more comfortable in the chair and close my eyes, but not for long.
The car stopped and I hear my boss now talking with someone over the phone.
I think we arrived.
