The Fall of the Mighty

Chapter One

Hi. My name is Gage Serlier, the biggest nobody at Cranters College. I moved into California from Louisiana with my mom after my parents split up. They were always screaming at each other, and I hated it. We moved last summer, to start with everyone else. Unfortunately, everyone already knew each other, so I had no chance at making friends. At lunch, people usually try to sit as far away from me as possible, but I'm pretty much invisible for the rest of the day.

I thought that this was my life from now on, to be shunned out by everyone because of some stupid rumours. And you know who spread those rumours? Meet Stacey Tasman, the bitchiest girl on campus and the queen bee of the school. She has a group of girls wherever she goes, and she's never seen without her hair immaculate or her lipstick and contour perfect. True, we're not allowed make up at the college, but the teachers make an exception for her because of her father, Bill Tasman. He runs two businesses at once. One is a social networking site that is worth billions of dollars, 142,234,556,555,786,087$ to be exact.
And the other is a car company named Tousché. His net worth is billions, and he has a LOT of power.
So he and his family are filthy rich, whilst I'm in the middle class. But hey, I'm not complaining. I'm only annoyed at the amount of attention the school's King, Wolfbane Hughes has been giving me recently. And Miss Stuck-Up-Queen Bee Stacey has been giving me a particularly hard time about it.
Like chill woman, I don't know why your 'boyfriend' is staring at me in Math class.

Onto the topic of Wolfbane, he is the most good-looking guy in the college. Every girl in 'The single rose' is hopelessly in love with him, including Stacey. Which is kinda ironic when you think about it. The single rose. Single. Which means the people in the group are single, a sign of independence. But hey, those girls wouldn't know independence if it slapped them in the face with a makeup brush.

Anyway onto the (pathetic) story of my life. And one more thing...
