It was a beautiful night and the girls were heading out to see the lights, an old tradition.

Lapis:
BEEP BEEP BEEP! I hear the alarm go off and look over to see what time it is. 10:00 am. "Ugh" I said as I turned the alarm off. I sat up, walking over to the bathroom sink, phone in hand. In my other hand i grab my brush. It looked like my hair hadnt been brushed for years, even though i brush it daily. I went to my texts to see Pearl texted me.

Salty_Earl: hey, I invited the girls to the lights, wanna come?

WaterWitch: sure what time?

Salty_Earl: It's about time you woke up! We're leaving at 1. I rented a van so we could all go. See you then!

WaterWitch: yeah...

Peridot:
I looked through my clothes, trying to find the perfect outfit for tonight. I ended up finding a cute green sweater. It had an alien on the front, like a logo kind of thing, but that wasnt even the best part, Lapis was invited! I'm ecstatic to see her pretty face again. I know she probably wouldnt be into a dork like me, but i can still dream!

Time forward thingy

Lapis: it's 12:45 and im sitting in bed in a comfortable blue long sleeve shirt with some dark blue jeans. Im also wearing a fluffy white scarf to counteract all the blue, though i could honestly care less. All of a sudden the van pulls up. It's a resonably big car with white paint and a red rose printed on the side. "I should have expected such a car if Pearl rented it." I thought.Smiling, i walked over to the car "hey Pearl, you're 13 minutes early!" I joked. She opened the door to let me in, "Just get in" she rolled her eyes, smiling. "Hey lapis" Amethyst said as i climbed in. She was sitting up front beside Pearl looking back at me. "So who's next on the pick up list?" I ask, looking at the empty seats in the van. "Well, next was Peridot, than Ruby, then Saphire. Well that is, if Saphire isnt already with Ruby." She laughed as she finished. I looked in the rearveiw mirror and saw Amethyst blushing and smiling at Pearl.
